Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition has returned with a release date of June 23rd, 2022 across all major digital storefronts. The game will be priced at $9.99 and the Nintendo Switch file size is already confirmed to be 3.7GB. For those who want a bit more, the physical edition from Limited Run Games will be $34.99.

The remaster is currently touting upgraded visuals across the board, including reconstructed and improved cinematics, which also now run at 60 frames-per-second as opposed to the 15 frames-per-second originals, modern gamepad support, anisotropic texture filtering, and SMAA Anti Aliasing. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions have already been confirmed to support 4K output, and the trophy and achievement lists have also gone live.

Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition will release on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on June 23rd 2022.

I've wanted to play this since it came out. I don't know if I'll play it now, but I've never bought it before and I think I might go for it.

This is from nearly two years ago, and if I remember they were having a lot of problems with the game which caused the delay? Seems weird that the game releases in four days yet no new screens or videos. What's going on?
Not the best quality but it will have to do for now.

Nintendo Switch page has some screenshots.
So does the Xbox page. You need to enter you date of birth for some reason to unlock the pictures.

It’s pretty awesome they managed to make this work and upscale the videos and all that pixel art. For decades everyone was convinced this game was impossible to resuscitate due to the lost original build and assets. It must’ve been a nightmare to put this puzzle back together.

Is it good? I'd like to try if worth.
I never liked it.
It's this really old style adventure game where you try everything on everything.. but also you can loose so you need to save.
Also - I've seen better video upsampling with DAIM than what they did

edit: Many adventure games did that back in the day. Even the best like Broken Sword

This game was hyped to hell way back when it came out, and IMO it's super overrated. Yes, it captures the Blade Runner feeling very well, but it doesn't really feel like you do a lot in the game, and right when you think it's starting to get good it's already over.

Happy to see I'm not the only one with these questions.

These are usually signs of a disaster in the making.

I might be misremembering, I played it only at release, but did they change McCoy's Voice?
The other voices are exactly as I remember them. That's weird.

It looks like he's got the makeup for a gay pride parade.

I'm getting the impression they didn't actually update the ingame graphics other than adding AA/AF.

Yup, that's all it is, just an upscale. It just looks like a cleaner version of the original (not sure that it's an improvement but it will be easier on the eyes on a big screen). Was not impressed but then again there's only charging $10 so they're pretty much acknowledging it.

It's out now, right? Anyone pick it up? I really enjoy the feel of the original version so I hope this is a decent enough conversion. The price is right !

Fantastic underated adventure game , up there witht the great Monkey Island 2. Thats how good this is. I love it.

Ill pick up the digital version. I would love the steel book version from limited run games but i cant justify 70 plus quid for it
