Yeah this is very strange. So apparently Kojima is rumored to be making two horror games. One is Overdose which is supposed to be an Xbox exclusive while Silent Hill is supposed to be a PlayStation exclusive. I’m wondering which one is correct since both rumors didn’t originate from your typical anonymous Twitter user.
I’m guessing there was probably a mix up along the way.

No. I've posted a few times about how I don't like kojima. But I know getting an exclusive from him will be a huge boon for Xbox and will sell consoles and help fund future games.
And knowing it's a horror game does make me a little interested.
Looking at Wikipedia kojima has not really done much outside of metal gear which I don't care for at all. The gameplay is fine but story, writing, dialog, etc are crap imo. I've heard good things about pt (never tried it) so I got a little hope. Just a little though!

Kojima is probably one of the very few individuals in the industry that has a cult following and is not attached to one of the big three. His game will sell to that fanbase, regardless as to where it's released. If that stadia game did happen it would have sold very well, I'm sure.

Well there’s multiple rumors on Kojima right now. What im finding odd are the rumors about his two horror games that are exclusive to PlayStation and Xbox. Something is definitely off here.

If he is making a Sony game, given the length of time between announcement to release for TLOU we could theoretically not hear about the game for another two or three months and it could still come out this year. Sony is very cagey anymore.

But kojima DID sign a deal with Google for a stadia game. So what's your point? You would have played it on Stadia if it came out. And now you'll play this game on Xbox or pc. Although I'm guessing the latter because then in your mind you can say ms didn't win

Almost every other news thread from video game chronicles we see here is sourced by him.
The ban is hardly being enforced, and it was only 'created' because the same couple of users kept complaining.
Jeff has been more trustworthy than most insiders, his track record speaks for itself.
Could very well be true.
But most people were expecting him at the Keighley show at least. Him not being here makes his appearance at the next show a bit more likely.

its still 50/50. he might not show up at the xbox event. we just dont know yet. nodody does. as of now its still only a rumour with one source. though jeff grubb does have a decent track record, i'll give him that. what we know for sure right now is that kojima himself has said that he is working on 2 projects.
also, its strange that the leaker has only leaked sony stuff. its the only thing making me doubt that this is the xbox game. cant wait for sunday to find out!

The snitch leaker hasn't said anything about Abandoned in any of his tweets. He just has it as his twitter banner.
I don't know how anyone can question what Abandoned is after Gamespot's exhaustively researched editorial piece a few days back.
Kojima may very well not show up at the Xbox showcase. But that's besides the point of this carnival of stupid.

I wouldn’t expect an Xbox leaker to know PlayStation info nor would I expect the opposite from a PlayStation leaker. At this point it’s anyones guess and there really isn’t hard evidence point to either exclusive being true. Even if Sunday passes and nothing happens doesn’t mean either can’t still be true. I guess we will just have to wait on this one.

im talking about the fact that the leaker who leaked the kojima game seems to be a sony leaker specifically. he leaked the entire state of play last week correctly. he leaked the release date of TLOU remake. so naturally you would assume the kojima game was also sony related and not microsoft. because it was that same guy who leaked it to begin with.

Maybe Kojima’s game will be on both PS5 and XBox, but the versions will differ somewhat? Kinda like with the two versions we always get for each new generation of Pokémon. Or how it used to be in the old days, where the SNES and Genesis versions of certain games would often be quite different from each other. This sounds like something Kojima would do.
