1. Let me stream my entire xbox library via xcloud.
2. Gamepass family plan
3. Elite controller 3
4. Gameplay of hellblade, starfield
5. Fh 5 expansion

I seem to be the only one who hates watching gameplay. Spoilers to me. Tell me what kind of game it is and show me a trailer so I can see generally what kind of game it is and how good it looks without spoiling huge sections for me - that’s all I want.

I also like hardware and services announcements.

My top 5
1) Starfield trailer
2) FH5 DLC announcement (and hopefully release)
3) FM7
4) Gamepass/services big news of some kind
5) new hardware (streaming box, maybe new Elite controller stuff like that)

Starfield gameplay
Perfect Dark gameplay
Forza Motorsport relase date and gameplay
New Hardware (Elite Series 3 and/or Streaming box)
Trailer for a game no know knows about yet
Some thid party high quality game reveal. Have a feeling MS will focus to much on their own games now with so many.

Ryse 2 would be Megatron

Nothing in particular but whatever they show I hope it's cool and something to look forward to.

‘No CGI’ is crazy talk. D’or reveals, CGI works just fine if the game isn’t ready to be shown off.

The real magic is striking the right balance. Show plenty of gameplay and then reveals can be introduced with CGI.
I’d much rather have CGI than have devs spend months over the course of the cycle to make 3 different E3 demos like we’ve seen with games like TLOU2

The only thing I want from Microsoft is another Banjo Kazooie game. I have no interest in the other IPs Microsoft have.
Starfield is delayed so I don’t care about early previews. I’ve seen and played enough games that I know how this will play out and it usually ends in disappointment. If Halo Infinite can release the way it did and the multiplayer is barebones with fomo I honestly cannot set high expectations for Microsoft anymore.

I think a good balance would be 80% gameplay and 20% CGI if they're going to show some early stuff

Yep. This sounds like a great balance.

im not playing a cgi trailer,im playing games

And there’s plenty of time for gameplay to come out, down the line. Elden Ring was introduced with CGI. You got gameplay before the preorders started.

Asking devs to take time out their tough schedule to carve up an E3 demo makes no sense. Easier to outsource CGI to an external studio.

Early reveals have their place. Customers want to see the pipeline of games for their console.

-Wolfenstein 3
- Viva Pinata Resurrection
- Gears collection / 2 remake
- Dead Rising reboot collaboration with Capcom
- Release date for 2022 for Hellblade 2 and more combat focusee gameplay

  • 20 minute deep dive into S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl (Unlikely, might not even see it due to the situation in Ukraine but it's still top of my list)
  • PC Game Pass, now on STEAM
  • Freelancer 2 (Early development, will still be out before Star Citizen)
  • Official Xbox/360 Emulation on PC
  • Dishonered III

Some are pipe dreams but a man can dream.

All gameplay/running on dev hardware trailers, no CG trailers

(I am a PlayStation gamer at heart, but i appreciate good games everywhere)

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
1. Starfield.
2. Quake, or at least something from id.
3. Dragon's Dogma 2, just like DMC V was revealed at an MS conference.
4. Avowed. Haven't been a fan of Obsidian's latests works, but I still have faith. Also the reveal looked cool.
5. Perfect Dark. My hopes aren't very high but I'm curious.

- Fable (not because I am a fan of the series, but because I am a fan of Playground and want to see their take on the series)
Yeah this is me too. Haven’t played more than a few hours total of Fable but Playground is insanely skilled and Microsoft’s most consistent dev when it comes to quality, and they’re Brittish which fits perfectly. Can’t wait to see this game!

GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
Plans for the Fallout franchise. This is one of the best franchises that MS now owns and they'd be stupid to let it fade away.

Obsidian: New Vegas 2....hint...hint

Difference being From has delivered great games before and most of MS most anticipated games are coming from newer studios or recently acquired ones that we don't know can still put out good games. People want to see the actual game and not CGI,you don't get shit from a CGI trailer, theres countless shovelware trash mobile games with amazing looking CGI trailers. If you don't have anything to show don't show anything.

Phil ends the show calling Bonnie Ross up on the stage, fires her live, then symbolically hands the Master Chief helmet to Certain Affinity. Mjolnir Mix outro.

Seriously, I’m hoping they kept one or two AA or AAA games under wraps from their studios that will release this year. A third-party AAA day 1 pick up for game pass to make up for Starfield’s push, is something I want to see as well. Only show gameplay for what is releasing the next 1.5 years. If you want to announce what a studio is working on that’s releasing distantly, just show the logo, none of this perfect dark, Everwild, etc junk they put together.

Folks hoping there is an Activision get will be disappointed, they are separate companies until the merger is finalized next year and I believe Sony has the COD MW2 marketing rights which I’m sure prohibits adding the game to Xbox subscription services.

Wtf you two Willis’ talkin’ ‘bout? Plenty XSX owners disappointed their matte black towers got nothing new to play.
Halo Infinite can only take them so far.

Source?

There is no difference. If you want to announce your game that’s still got a way to go, you can either condemn your devs to work on pointless vertical slices or do a CGI reveal.
And there’s nobody sitting at home in good faith, wondering if Machine Gun games or Tango games can still make good games. Makes zero sense.

People want to see actual gameplay before they put down or reserve cash. And that always happens.

Selfishly plays on Xbox Purr-ies X
Starfield of course
Hellblade 2 with a release date
Avowed with a release date
Indiana Jones
InXile Steampunk RPG
Whatever Compulsion Games is working on

Also, some surprise announcements for games we haven't heard about yet and some Day 1 for big 3rd party on Game Pass

Edit - I forgot to add the #1 thing I want to see: a big fat campaign expansion for Season 3 of Halo Infinite.

StarField deep dive
Hellblade 2 gameplay trailer
Avowed gameplay trailer
Wolfenstein III
A big Halo Infinite singleplayer DLC expansion

I don’t mind CGI trailers at all, as long as the presentation isn’t 100% CGI trailers it’ll be fine.

Personal Wishes:

1: Jet Force Gemini Remake (trailer & gameplay)
2: Panzer Dragoon Saga Remake (or sequel) with Sega (trailer & gameplay)
3: Avowed (gameplay)
4: Project Midnight (trailer & gameplay)
5: Killer Instinct 2 (trailer & gameplay)

Best for Them (MS):

1: Perfect Dark (new trailer & gameplay)
2: Hellblade 2 (extended gameplay)
3: Avowed (gameplay)
4: Everwild (new trailer & gameplay)
5: Starfield & RedFall (extended gameplay)

Most Likely:

1: Forza Motorsport (trailer & gameplay)
2: Starfield (trailer & interspersed gameplay)
3: RedFall (trailer & interspersed gameplay)
4: Gotham Knights for GamePass announcement
5: Xbox Series streaming unit for xCloud announcement

I'd laugh so hard if this happened even in a professional way, like she just comes up and announces retirement from 343i. Not gonna happen, though.

Folks hoping there is an Activision get will be disappointed, they are separate companies until the merger is finalized next year and I believe Sony has the COD MW2 marketing rights which I’m sure prohibits adding the game to Xbox subscription services.

MW2 marketing rights being with Sony are up for debate ATM; I wouldn't be surprised if Sony turned it down. IIRC the COD contracts are negotiated as multi-year and why pay for a year where you aren't even getting a game (they're skipping 2023 last the word was).

What I think will be there:

. Forza Motorsport
. Hellblade II
. Avowed
. Forza Horizon 5 DLC
. Redfall
. Starfield
. Golden Eye remake
. The next Compulsion game
. An FPS from one of Zenimax studios
. Contraband from Avalanche
. One or two surprises
. Third party temporary exclusives
. A bunch of great looking indie titles

The Fable reboot, Everwild, State of Decay 3, Perfect Dark, the inXile RPG, and the rest of Zenimax upcoming projects will be unveiled next year for the most part, and beyond (Indiana Jones, the new Quake, Tango games new entry...), imo.

The ingredients are there to make it the best Xbox centered conference of the last few years, easily. Pretty excited...😀

-Perfect Dark gameplay
-Hellblade 2 gameplay
-Avowed gameplay
-Surprise Backwards Compatibility news
-New game announcement from one of their studios that releases within 12 months... preferably by iD

a bonus would be a full on, Hollywood budget, dramatically directed trailer announcement that 343 Industries is getting closed down :)
