No. Nobody could ever be right with any rumours. Ever. Don’t ever express excitement at the possibility. The appropriate reaction would be to complain that the source isn’t credible because they aren’t batting 1000.

I think we'll get a remake of BB.
I'd like to see FromSoft make a spiritual successor to BB though. Like a HR Giger sci fi inspired style but with some crazy hyper future/high fantasy shit thrown in Miyazaki style.

Yes, but that's not him reporting based on any sources that there will be a sequel. He said this during the review of the first game solely based on how the game ended. Given the game's ending, I think many people, including myself, believed there absolutely would be a sequel. Of course, that all changed when the game didn't sell well.

If the remake is made, I expect it to sell a ton and be critically received very well by almost everyone, except for the 20-30 posters on Neogaf who will nitpick any and all changes made.

Unfortunately, I agree. At this point, I'd be fuckin' gobsmacked if anything from the IP was announced in the near or even the far future.
One of my 3 New Year Resolutions for 2022 was to stop waiting for Bloodborne anything and just be surprised if/or when they actually move on anything.

Some people feel Dark Souls 2 is the best entry in that trilogy. Not my opinion, but I've seen it stated on this forum.
Miyazaki will be back for Bloodborne 3 just like that series.

I platinumed the game about 3 months ago. Honestly just make a sequel or remaster but please shut the fuck up about it. It's getting worse than these acquisition talks haha.
The game is amazing, and deserves to be spoken about in the highest circles when praising games but its years old and Sony act like they hardly know it exists. Plus it sold like 4 million copies if we are lucky and is probably Froms worst performing game commercially. Yes it's loved by us hard-core fans but it's not like it did well when it came out.
After elden ring Sony should be definitely eager to at least get a PC port out but please people stop with the rumours it's just painful at this point.
I also can't be assed with more remakes, please make new games. So just patch it and bring a PC version.
