If you read the full thing the dev goes on to explain. The resolution isn't the be end of all when it comes to VR.

Yah the cord is most likely them going cheap here. Quest has been wireless for years
It has also been front heavy and hot for years.

With all the new stuff being cramped in there for haptics and eye rendering I feel a single cable is a nice trade off as to not make the headset super bulky by also adding wireless processing and batteries into the mix.

I don't think its too crazy to say wireless brings more gameplay benefits than haptics. Heck Quest 2 is lighter than PSVR by 16%. Weight issue is hyperbole here.

The battery life is also 2 hours if you're lucky.

Not that I recommend one games for longer than that in VR, but people do.

Gaming is 2 hours, watching media is 3. That is manufacturer's, and in my experience with manufactured specs for battery life, it always comes in either on or below, never over. If it does, it is barely much.

But, did you heard that Quest 2 is wireless, and the PSVR2 has a wire?

Two totally irrelevant headsets to one another since neither can be used on either's platform with either's games?

No not really. Gaming can be longer than 2 hours too. This coming from my experience too.

Indeed PSVR2 has a wire, which is disappointing.
