Hi , Everyone I would like to share Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade PC Version on RTX 3090. The Game only have high settings (2 options only) and FPS option. Even My RTX 3090 I was not able to hit solid 60FPS. Saw Framedrops. The game just look a like compare able to PS5 Version.

4k@30fps locked only outside battle ( I only did the Reactor 1 Mission )

This game is a stutter fest on PC

Are there Driver updates for Nvidia? I believe DLSS is suppose to be available. Possible its not set yet. That should help you out since PS5 version using a Dynamic res scaling technique.

And yet still manages to be a truly beautiful game in my opinion.

I played it on PS4 Pro and tried the PS5 version yesterday, and just those 60fps is game-changer for me.

Wish I had played it with 60fps instead of 30fps.

I get it it's these guys job to dissect the game's performance wise, but to be honest the game looks and plays just fine.

combat is amazing in the game.

and what the heck, I want to see what DF is trying to say as i’m playing on a 3090/5950x and have 4k/60fps smooth as butter.

Shouldn't you be getting better than 4K 60 with that hardware. Is the game capped to 60fps?

Is the combat always this boring? Is lock-on at least optional?
Subjectively, yeah it’s boring, controls badly and feels like a super janky low budget third person slasher. You can tweak it a bit with different settings, there is an option to sort of send commands as if it’s turn based but it’s horrible and you don’t see what’s going on with the hectic nature of the action, I never found any way to play it like I wanted and eventually dropped it altogether.

Objectively, it’s very nice to look at, the settings are spot on and the music is full of nostalgia, if you never liked the strategic turn based combat that made FF7 awesome and don’t care that this isn’t a remake but a completely different game using the same characters and settings you might like it.

Weird, this guy is getting locked 120fps on his 3090. Probably need to cap the frame-rate which toggle dynamic resolution if I understand correctly.

According what I've been reading, buyers beware. Alex from DF called this the technically worst AAA PC release in a long time. That inflated price point is even more ludicrous now.

I totally agree. I feel like a good chunk of DF's so called issues would never even be noticed without taking a magnifying glass to them.

I tried the game on ps4 and the combat did nothing for me. It would be cool if those people that say that's the best battle system ever could give us some reasons.

Come on guys. Ok the issues might not be a big deal to some, including you, but maybe deal breakers to others. Personally I can't stand UE stutters (Arkham Knight PTSD anyone?) and hampers my enjoyment of the game a great deal. DF is just reporting the issues as is with numbers to back up their claims. They are on the gamers side and plays a big part to evaluate the product we are buying. Of course we can take or ignore their advice, but please don't downplay issues when they are obviously present.

same here. I really don't get the love some people have for it I thought it was jank as hell

For me the combat is all about the flow, once you start getting some amazing materia you start chaining up everyone's abilities, its frantic but feels organized once you understand it. And the constantly shifting types of bosses make it so you cant rely on one set strategy (and if you do, once you get to the hell house you'll be in for a miserable time)

How do you fuck up an Unreal Engine port?

The only good think about it being Unreal Engine is that the community will likely fix this sooner rather than later.

They're here to make money first and foremost, not to be on our side. With that said, I still enjoy watching their videos and I agree that they bring some good points to the table sometimes but a lot of these so called issues just seem overblown to me like when they start nitpicking lighting or reflections.

How the skill ceiling? Is it complicated or requires skill kinda like a DMC game, or is it just chaning abilities without worrying too much about dodging, attacking, etc?

Again, come on now. Every product or service you ever used is generated by someone who is trying to make money. That does not have any relevance to the matter whatsoever. Here you have a corporation saying "Hey you, buy our sweet ass new PC game for the low low price of USD79.99! It's totally worth it I promise you!", and then another outlet (backed by a corporation sure) saying "hold on there, there are multiple issues with this game related to x, y, and z, as we illustrate with these example. Maybe this game won't give you a good experience/maybe you should wait for patches/maybe you can use our optimal settings". You tell me who is more on the consumers side here.

It's an action RPG essentially, so you don't need DMC fast style reactions, but you do need to know when to block and dodge, while knowing what skills to chain together. Tifa is a little bit more action-y, as is the Yuffie DLC, but you should be able to get through it without DMC skills, there aren't any like, complicated combos or anything.

That being said, as far as skill ceiling itself, you can absolutely make it look DMC-ish at times once you understand the combat, there's some crazy shit on youtube
