Yet, anytime there's even a hint of positive sales news for anything Xbox... Just like clockwork. The same people rushing out in front to pipe everyone down, and inform them that despite whatever they heard... Nobody wants an Xbox, and that all the people that bought one were really wanting a PS5.

You mind showing me the links? Because I just checked Amazon Germany and it says first delivery date December 31st (most likely placeholder)and Amazon France says that new supplies comes in January 4th.

I'm a hardcore gamer and chose 2 Series S over any Series X (I sold my launch unit and even flipped a Halo Bundle)
So I had the chance to just get a Series X.

The Series S is more desirable.
I got one for 299 and the other for 222.
That's 2 Series S for the price of one X.

How is that not better value?

Get the third one! That way you will have the power of the X on 3 Series S. At least you have the same storage as the X with 2 Series S 1TB SSD.

Xbox Series S was in stock for nearly the entire day. If you scroll down to the bottom, you will see that Xbox Series S has been in stock online for months.


I don't know what else you want to see. The evidence is very clear. PS5 was not in stock during black Friday and the Xbox Series X had small drop on Friday.

People spent 300$ to get the xss. If you simply add 200$ to it, you can buy the xsx, when its available on stock. You dont simply waste that money, on something that you dont want to buy it. No one cares if its available.

It's funny that the Xbox One and PS4 are still selling to where even Gamestop is giving a lot of money for one but the S is only selling cause it's the only console available. It's getting a boost from that, but it would still be selling out just like the used Xbox Ones are.

I had an XSS and liked it. I returned it and picked up an XSX (eventually), but only because I wanted more internal storage space. I was fine with its performance though

We also have people here "believing" that if PS5 and XSX were in supply nobody would have purchased XSS. There's no basis in reality for that belief, either. Some people probably went shopping with the intent to buy an XSS because it was $299 and it was the gift they wanted to give. Some people saw Fortnite on the XSS label and remembered that someone in their life plays that game and might like the bundle. If there was a console that cost $200 more sitting next to it would one hundred percent of people choose to pay more? Doubtful.

The truth is that some people would have bought PS5 or XSX if it were available and some people would have still purchased XSS because it's what they wanted to buy and all of this arguing over what other people would have done is stupid.
