AS for myself try to find a post of me shitting up a thread or going into Sony/Xbox/Nintendo specific threads to shit up anything. I give my opinion and clearly, for example i say plenty times Sony fanboys are the most insufferable on this forum, not that the other ones are better, but i do not enter a Sony exclusive game thread, for example, to talk shit about a game i didn't play.

What people need to realize that the world isn't according to you. We have these civil forums (this place included) which I find fair and way more balanced than others that lean into the politically correct censorship of adult disagreement.
We have people in medical, technical, and food service among other hip sons of bitches (my class). We can come together like the bastards (or bitches) that we are and have a good laugh.
Now this TC which reminds of circa 2005-2010 console warrior over thinking of because his/her point of view isn't shared by others seems to find arbitrary and selective moments to prove their inability to handle that not everyone thinks like them.
I've been caught in that at times for lacking discipline (Kindergarten Cop voice). I've also tried to be as in the middle and understanding of other consoles as to not be too harsh despite my personal tastes. That's why you don't see me meddle in Switch threads because it's got the same vibe as their last few platforms barring some exclusives here and there. That was my take with the Wii. It was the worse market leader ever when lacking a massive amount of games on the other platforms.

Just don't post stupid low effort shit about any platform. I've never seen anyone get banned for legit criticism, or pointing on the difference between games on two different platforms.

If more people tried making threads for discussion (I do my part here and there), there would be more content to discuss. As for perfect grammar and spelling thats not a big deal with me.
Problem with fan warriors is if you look at their posting history it's literally like 95%+ console fighting, list wars etc.... Some of them might even be 100%. There's lots of threads in GAF, and even a Community and Off Topic section, but they never go there either.
But let's say there's not much console warrioring going on that day or week, they have nothing to talk about.
So it shows what they do is skim GAF threads for those contentious content. If there is, they join in the fight. If there's nothing to fight about they skip posting.

I may think that a game looks like trash and the devs are lazy assholes. But hey that's just my opinion.
However that kind of opinion is not welcome here. Post your reasons why you dont like something in a rational manner without trying to stir the pot and you will see that all will be fine.

there are worse on here and I won’t name and names but it’s nice to see people staying out of certain threads to make sure they don’t get a ban. A few must be coming up for perms as they had a few in the past.

Funny, I believe there's no free speech here. For example, If I say returnal is an indie game I get a warning, if I say demon's souls is a failure because it only sold 1.4 million in a year I get a warning.
If I say Halo looks like it's going to suck k get banned.
If I call cyberpunk "Cyberbug" I can't make threads for a year.
On the other hand if I say Returnal is a AAA game I don't get a warning
If I say Demon's Souls was a huge success I don't get a warning.
If I say Cyberpunk plays just fine and people are making drama I don't get a warning.
If I say Halo looks like a great game with spectacular visuals I don't get banned.

If you look at all the bans lately, sure some definitely were being fanboys. Others seemed to be just stating an opinion about a game, service, decision, etc.
It's a judgement call I guess, but it feels like their is a tendency to assume saying anything negative is console warring - or, in some cases, saying something GOOD about one platform, if the other platforms don't match it.

Exactly. I can't critize a game because I get warning about console warring whatever that means. I own a PS5, I don't own an Xbox. I get warning when I say there's no games to play and I've been playing PS4 games for almost a year.
