If they want players to return to the game they could I dunno announce big booba Signora as a 4* with big powercreep, give weekly/monthly chest respawns across all regions, create ingame events that aren't relegated to dailies, fix resin and their piss poor stamina system, and reset all floors of Abyss bi-weekly so it isn't relegated to whale only content.
Most of the revenue this game generates is primarily from whales dropping 4k everytime a powercreep weapon or 5* character comes out.
I really don't think MHY will care about player feedback if they get what they want with predatory practices towards their whales. Meanwhile krill like us see it for what it is. Poppycock.

I have a Nier gacha installed and I dunno why, but it spams me(everyone) with free stuff, bonuses for logins and basically unlimited stamina so if I want I can play 12h per day every day. I dunno, it looks like it's not very popular plus its genre of 3 v 3 auto battles is pretty crowded so they need to be pretty generous.
Genshin is pretty unique, damn popular and still makes good money. I honestly see no reason for them to do anything at all. I was talking and seeing other people discuss 10 wishes for the anniversary waaaaay before it was announced. They still went with it and still haven't changed a thing.
All GI needs is a good kick in a butt from a new competition or a mass exodus of whales.

NieR came too late I think. There is a lot of 3v3 stuff in gachaverse and I still stand by DFFOO being one of the best Gachas out there when it comes to what it has to offer. And NieR can only do so much in universe. Final Fantasy multiverse has little limitations.

Yep, I have 0 interested in it. Installed only for 2B limited event. Got her thankfully. But never played the game much. But I noticed that they added some colors to its pallette which is very welcome because before that game looked way too drab. That's nice I think. But yeah, I have no time for it. I mentioned it only to illustrate how generous game can really be. GirlsFrontline is fair, Nier is generous, GI is plain cheap lol

It's funny that the game has dendro since alpha and beta and they still didn't implement any other reaction besides with pyro.
Which can be either sad or weird. As Pyro reaction with dendro is rather weak, considering it deals tons of damage on players because the shamacurl applies a lots of ticks per second. While the Dendro slime barelly take any damage from its reaction.

I think it was someone from Wargaming (world of tanks etc) - that said that everyone can profit on whales - really smart companies know how to open wallets of dolphins and micropayers.
And imho Mihoyo is doing pretty well here with welkin and battle pass - through i never buy pass since i never managed to finish it due to various circumstances.

So I've been going around trying to complete my archive. I hunted damn snow foxes for like 2 hours with no luck. Eventually I just dropped into random Co-Op looking for someone who hadn't completed the "feed the foxes" mini quest, and killed the one by the campfire. Those things are rare as hell outside of that quest line.
Now the only thing left are a few of the different eagles/hawks.

Animal section is full, now all that's left is a few in-game books and about 15 of the scattered pages in Inazuma, then my Archive is functionally complete for now, at least with everything that I can get. Going to spend the next week or so just doing Leylines to try to get a few more of my often used characters to 90, up from 81. Man the last tier of leveling everything takes so many resources. Mora/materials/books, you name it, it's exponentially more from 80-90. Shit sucks. I'm out of weapon materials for the first time in like 8 months just trying to get everybody's weapons to 80.
Rank 5 catch achieved, and I got a claymore prototype from Signora tonight. I'm going to try to R5 that new Inazuma craftable claymore for Beidou, seems pretty great for her. Originally I was going to use it on Sayu, but I feel that Favonius claymore fits her better.
Is this Liyue festival in 2.1 or 2.2? I certainly hope it's 2.1 because this half of the update has been a real snoozefest. We didn't even get a boss encounter with the specter event.

Seems lame. Man I didn't realize we were back to Moonchase festival already. I know they said something about not wanting to include real world events and holidays, but the ones they picked in game suck ass. It is weird they said that considering this event seems to be based on the big Mooncake Festival/Mid Autumn Festival held between late Sept to Early Oct in China. Friend mentioned it's basically Liyue Festival 2.0 but with the main cast minus John Lee.

I'm not sure what this means yet since I haven't played the new event, but supposedly it's some sort of tracker to make sure you can 100% the fish sword quest? I dunno, just posting it so I don't have to find it again later.

So the Moonchase festival consist of three parts:
Story quests. Fun to see these characters again, but there's hardly any gameplay to these quests, just reading, mostly about Liyue. I've kind of had it with Liyue. It's obvious the devs love this place because it's Liyue all the time. You go to Inazuma and Ayaka is all "WOW YOU WENT TO LIYUE WHAT A COOL PLACE BRO!" and it's just too much. I also dislike the constant focus on cooking. I might've mentioned that before, but I just don't see the appeal in yapping on about how delicious digital food is. It's not real. I can't smell it or taste it or anything. I don't care about cooking in a video game, and an entire event that focuses solely on that seems pretty boring to me. Overall, the quests somewhat make up for the lack of interactions with certain characters, but otherwise it's pretty boring IMO. Could get better as the events continues.
Camp clearing event. You just go around defeating groups of enemies. You can offer some pre-existing dishes for combat bonuses, but it's unnecessary. You get some mora for offering all of them, so might as well do it for that reward. It's pretty standard as far as events go. Meh.
Finally there's finding the scattered talismans and chests for primos and the tuna claymore. Haven't done this yet. You can supposedly ask a lady for hints as to where to find this stuff, but you can use the interactive map too. Probably the best part of the event as it encourages you to explore again for significant rewards. I'm leaving this for later so I have something to do in the future.

Well Liyue is "not-China" so don't expect that to ever go away. It's by far the most forgettable nation to me personally though. I definitely see what you mean though "oh boy what I would do for some Liyue cuisine" daily that I get every day drills it into me that Liyue is awesome, their food is awesome, and we should cook it and eat it every day.
I hope we at least get some world lore advancement or some significant time with the characters that fleshes them out besides "I'm Xiangling and I cook!" or "I'm Keqing and I'm a hard worker that don't need no archon!"

I find really stupid and infuriating that the Liyue compass doesn't point to the chests. Anyway, I followed this for the missing ones:
Don't ask for clues before 90%, it gives you exactly a 10% - I was 89% when I asked for clues and that got me to 99% and was quite annoying.

Man, fuck this shit. I'm stuck with 10 rep to rank 10 Inazuma fame and the sweet purple glider, and the last two quests I need to get it before next Monday are behind random dailies. I know damn well I'm going to be feeding the Liyue bitch all week, just got it again today in fact. What a shit design to gate stuff behind RNG quests that can be repeated. I wouldn't even care that the quests are RNG if completing them (even all routes) made them cross off of a list of available dailies until you've done them all. I gotta hope I get the cat island daily I guess.

Then again I've seen my characters eat shit from attacks that are 3 meters away. It's probably ping/server side dependent on if you actually dodge/get hit by attacks. I don't think it can be directly compared with games that have really tight hitboxes.Another showing of GI engine capabilities:

I still don't believe that rumor. I think it's going to cycle through the Liyuese characters, like HuTao/Ganyu/Xiao. Just because he has a story relevant quest coming up doesn't mean anything about a banner. There were really old unverifiable leaks that said that he's either going to get killed or beat within an inch of his life by Scaramouche while trying to recover the Gnosis that Scara defied the Tsarista and ran off with. There's trouble in Schnez. If he dies, that's a pretty nice boon to Signora fans since it could mean that she's eventually playable.
