How many of those are on GamePass? 🧐

Very good numbers for PlayStation, as usual. I kind of expected Tales of Arise to have this disparity, but NBA numbers did surprise me a little bit.

What's most interesting to me is that:
  • NBA sold 70% more copies on PS5 vs. PS4.
  • However, the same game sold 23% fewer copies on XSX vs. Xbox One.
Why do y'all think this is the case?

Glad to see Tales of Arise selling well. Haven't played it yet but those incredible scores deserve good sales.

Wish we got numbers for these charts but at least get the rankings. Also can't believe the OP missed out the most important release of the week, Bus Simulator 21 at No. 17 (65% of the game's boxed sales were on PS4, and 35% on Xbox One).

Can we now confirm this gravely concerning pattern? :lollipop_anxious_sweat:

Seems they got beat by a new competitor.

NBA is also a $70 game on Xbox right?

The Series S has no disk drive.
Early Xbox adaptors are more digital.

XSX stock is so dire that XSS is a huge part of the Series install base. Idk if we have any real numbers for UK, but in Spain for example, the XSS sometimes even outsells the XSX. This could be the case in other parts of Europe and it would also explain the numbers.

Series S is a good point. I hadn't thought of that.

But then PS5 numbers would also be affected by PS5 Digital sales here. And I don't think Series S would be outselling Series X by 200-300% to cause such a discrepancy. Would have been good to have the breakdown.

Digital numbers will be published Thursday so that may clear some of that confusion.

These numbers also include xbox one and one x. Doesn't those has a disc? 😂

I mean is anyone surprised at this point from the many examples shown already?

Phil is full of shit when he said Gamepass increase games sales. How does that work exactly? Training your user base to rent games for dirt cheap and you expect it to increase their purchasing habits?

Sony securing timed exclusives will be easier and cheaper than ever this gen. While the other side of the fence wait for games to come to Gamepass.

I don't think there was a restock for nearly a month of xsx, and that restock was the halo console preorders (does this even count as people won't even get those till November?) and I don't think I've seen series x for sale from any stores at all since, only series s in abundance.

My younger brother is trying to get a series x still.

Edit: just to clarify my post is about the UK.
