Naw, they could always use more eyes-on Forza. (Plus, it's in its element as a Gamescom event, even though there's not an actual event and so it's just "worldwide video" rather than something European press would write a ton about.) It's an easy game to trot out and show as much footage as possible, there's no fear of 'spoilers' or of needing to be careful of the brand manager's timing on announcements (though some cars and features are doled out at a time... and that HALO drop of a car was pretty rad right now,) and it's just a gorgeous game that you could show plenty of and not burn out the audience.

Whereas Halo, they could announce a direct event of Campaign or even a new trailer or a date any day now and capture a massive audience in an instance. They don't need to tie it to a trade show to get media attention.
