Its the same dog and pony show every year.

And those thinking the others make a dent, you just kidding yourselves, as usual.

So is it going to use Unreal Engine 5 with all those fancy features the engine has? Or is it going to look bland and the gaming media is going to go crazy over claiming something that is not true. Cause it's always the same shit with COD.

Isn’t Call Of Duty using an old unreal engine as a base that they heavily modified?

edit it’s ID tech 3, not UE3 as multiple people corrected me.

I always thought the graphics were very good in COD games, but the campaign always feels hallow.

But at least a campaign!!!

But no single player BF2042 campaign!!! :( Looks super cool though for multiplayer, but if I want a good BF multiplayer, I would just go back and play BF4 (which I quit because spent too much time playing it).
Yep, I'm not getting Battlefield this year, if it had a campaign I would

I don't know the devs don't like to say what engine they use whenever you start their game up. Unless I'm wrong and it is a heavily modified Unreal Engine.

6 months, 8 months after launch, i actually wouldnt be surprised if thats true.
Battlefield is going to launch huge, so much hype behind it. With Halo also launching on PC day and date, Halo will also launch huge. Hell launch day/launch week sales for Batlefield and Halo may even beat COD in the same time frame, but 6 months after launch?, COD will be well ahead.

We have been here so many times in the past, and it never changes. COD will sell the most in the long run.

It has been a long time since I played a good FPS. I am not into military FPS at all such as COD or BF. If this new game is set on WWII I am in.

And Halo Infinite will be the better game.
This, who gives a fuck about sales. I don't understand the obsession with gamers in sales for anything related to gaming when it should not even concern them. I can understand if they had some type of investment but who gives a flying fuck over sales. Only fanboys care and use it as fuel to fuel their toxicity in the gaming community.

Ill believe it when I see it.
Same if I see photorealistic graphics and real-time raytracing and FPS that goes all the way to 1000fps and no loading time, only when the game loads into an online match and if they separate games from last-gen and do next-gen then I will bow down and kiss the devs who made the game and pay $2000 for the game.

It looks like they've used the PS5 to its full potential

They didn't even scratch the surface of what is possible on PS5/XsX.

I don't think graphics can save cod from the massive bf2042 and halo infinite launches

Nah bud.

I'm a massive BF fan, anyone on here knows it. Put literally 400 plus hours in BFV (the most hated BF by some of you lol) and LOVED IT, and I'm telling you.....COD does not need any saving.

It will move massive units beyond Halo 100% lol and even more then BF. I don't see those install bases changing sir. The last Call Of Duty literally hit a franchise record in terms of fastest sales...

I like games that look good, but since it is a multiplatform multigenerational game, I doubt it will be one of the best looking games. But there isn’t that much competition right now for a game to look good.

I'd imagine it will look great but COD will shine only when they drop current gen. Probably won't even be next year but we'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised. COD games always impress graphically.
Idk about always but definitely around the advanced Or infinite warfare time things picked up. Though games like BO4 didn't look good compared to competition. MW3 and Black Ops were not great compared to Battlefield and so on.
