An Update on Riders Republic

We can’t wait for you all to hit the Republic in our upcoming beta! This will be the first time you get to go hands-on in this massive multiplayer playground and we are looking forward to hearing what you think.
To ensure we can deliver the best game for all players, we've made the tough decision to delay our release date from September 2 to October 28. This will give us more time to fine tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback.
We’ll have more to share soon, so stay tuned!

An Update on Rainbow Six Extraction

Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games. With unique features like Missing In Action or The Sprawl, every mission is set to be a tense and challenging experience in which you’ll lead the elite operators of Rainbow Six in a fight against a lethal and evolving alien threat.
We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022. We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.
We look forward to sharing more with you very soon!

Don't care for R6 Extraction much but bummer that RR has been delayed once again as well.

Well hopefully ill get in the beta to try this out for riders republic as originally didnt like what was shown, but its kinda grown on me after going back to ssx on my xbox x recently, and realising there is no snowboarding games out there now, this morning registered for the beta, although im hoping u can play it off line and against a few bots as dont want to have to play against a load of people online all time

Somewhat surprised by Extraction being delayed again.

I did notice every operator featured video they put out gets lots of dislikes. As someone who has enjoyed (and still does to a large degree) Siege, I have no interest in it. Especially now since it will be out right before Elden Ring which I am for sure going to be getting.

I'd rather them keep Siege going and make a Vegas 3 style game or one more in lines with even older titles.

I was really looking forward to Riders Republic when it was supposed to release earlier this year, but it has now gone from a buy to wait for a sale as there are games I’m way more excited about releasing around that time.

Are they even working at Ubisoft or are they too busy being institutionally harrased?

No interest in either game but I wonder if Far Cry 6 gets delayed to 2022.

LOL another mid fall release. This industry really is full of incompetence. The year has more than 3 months in it devs. We might be interested in your shit if it isn't next to every other AAA release. Fucking hell.

Yikes, Riders Republic was going to be Day One for me but now it launches 2 days after BF2042. Now I have to skip it.

Good one Ubisoft, you should just delay it to early 2022.

Some of my friends play Siege a lot and they're all very negative towards Extraction. It's probably going to struggle to repeat Siege's success, at least with the same crowd.

But hey, these kinds of games aren't my thing so I may not know what the market very well. ;)

Tactical shooter fans not being interested in a horde zombie game. I’m shocked.

Extraction is a good game walled off behind a terrible price point. This game is in no way worth the price they ask for it. It's a 20/25€ game at max. Operators already exist and are taken from Siege. Engine and game play too. So only the boring enemy design is new, new abilities and the maps are completely new. That's a ripoff.

The problem they face is it was a free mode in Siege. Even if it's 100 times better, people will not be able to shake the idea that they played something similar for free.

But fundamentally it's a fucking zombie game. People who play R6 are after tactical military gameplay. Not fucking zombies. This shit is so tone deaf it's not even funny.

At the very least they could have made the "alien zombies" look fucking better. Hell, the event we got in Outbreak was more visually appealing and atmospheric.
