Glad other people liked it, but man I think it's among the most overrated games I ever played, Ghost and FFVIIR were so much better.

MM was advertised as a ps5 game. Tlou2 is a sequel to a beloved game, while MM is a dlc game, sold as a full game.

As much as we like a guess, we also have to add game sales. Lau2 was on sale couple of time, which made its sales go up. Not to mention, it was released when people where on lockdown. While MM was released at the end of the lockdown.

Mm should outsold tlou2 by the end of this year. Its spiderman game. Ain't no way a horror game, would outsell a freaking spiderman game.

At the end of the day, I am happy ps5 is doing good sales.

I'm a mixture of both. Though I love smaller maps with deep lore and exploration stuff with games like Souls series and Yakuza, I still like open world games that are larger with deep exploration too.

Madden's main audience is in the US and the game is on multiple platforms. When it comes to world wide sales, TLOU 2 is doing much better.

As I explained earlier, God of War was on sale for along time and it only sold 10 million copies in about 13 months. Sony puts their games on sale few months after the game released to, and this has happened with nearly all of their major releases so far.

I love searching video game deals and I know how Sony put firsts party titles on sales. GoT is the only major PS4 game that hasn't dropped below 50% one year after launch.

The Last of Us: Part II passed 500.000 units sold in December
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales passed 200.000 units sold in December
Ghost of Tsushima passed 200.000 units sold in September




Ghost of Tsushima did much better in Japan but the sales reports are from Europe and it shows how far behind Ghost of Tsushima is in comparison to The Last of Us Part II.

It's also tracking better in 2021, so if Ghost of Tsushima was at 6.5 million copies sold back in March, The Last of Us Part II is well ahead of that.

It has some of the best enemy AI I have seen in a game. As much as I like GOT the enemy AI during stealth is almost as bad as Cyberpunk 2077. On higher difficulties on TLOU2 you actually have to outthink and outsmart your enemies if you want to stealth it. Stealthing a whole section on grounded feels like an achievment.

Just finding some Spider-Man that bombed in the past doesn't really explain or say much about Miles Morales, there have been hundreds of licensed shovelware, and using them to extrapolate sales projections unto modern triple-A superhero games doesn't explain too much. ANYONE who actually looked up sales would know that games tend to fall out of the chart after the 3rd or 4th month. Using third month sales in comparison to a 2nd month or popular titles that have been in the sales charts for months is stupid.

Dunno how credible that chart is, only that it showed TLOU2 physical sales being lower than GTAV's. If you can discredit their source then that would weaken their argument.

It is. They bring up MC all the time as if it has some meaning, knowing it was review bombed by people who didn't play the game.

Their argument is that the game also had positive review bombs that balanced things out so if MC only removed the negative ones, that distorted the true score even more.

You're not getting it. Go on their YouTube channels and see what they have to say about the high review scores. They're taken as less credible as actual MC user reviews. I didn't say all tweets directed towards them are all the same, I said there are STILL people doing those exact things. It's not hard to find a ND Tweet about TLOU and see it for yourself.

I've not seen them say that positive reviews couldn't be genuine. Closest thing was that ND had a lot of journalists defending them.

It doesn't matter how many consoles you own. You're excusing their behavior. You can look at any one of their videos and see those exact things being mentioned.

I've not seen any behaviour to excuse and I wouldn't have if I had. They talk about multiple TLOU2 things, ranging from the leaks, memes, charts, ND attacking fans, copyright strikes, marketing so what you said about any video is false.

He used it as proof that the legs were bad and said GoT had better legs. which was completely false considering the sales from 2020 showed GoT way behind TLOU 2. They posted copies of GoT and TLOU on shelves to prove GoT was selling better.

You can compare GTAV and Animal Crossing to ANY big title and most will be lower in comparison. You can't say, "he was right" when he used it as proof that the game was failing.
