But you know what they say...better late than never right? Lol. But in all seriousness first Castlevania Chronicles and now Dee Dee Planet means Dreamcast is having a hell of a 2021. I remember Dee Dee Planet being previewed in magazines back in 1999 and 2000 as the next "online" game in Sega's online series after Chu Chu Rocket...and then it went missing and was never heard from again.

Supposedly this was due to some server side issue where online connection were not stable / would not work. My guess is considering the Dreamcast was hurting by late 2000 the cost of fixing the issue and getting Dee Dee Planet released was probably deemed to be too expensive and the "easy" answer was to just outright cancel the game. A total bummer but I guess I can understand that.

But hey...it may be 21 years delayed but we can finally all play Dee Dee Planet and I am NOT complaining about that lol. If you've ever played Worms you will be right at home here
