I hope we get more of an explanation as the game continues. "She got deleted" is overly simplistic way to close out her story and a fuck you to people that sadly played Halo 5.

Really hard to tell about campaign. Chief looks even better this year with the new textures they added to his armor to make it look battle worn, but what about in engine in game play? What about lighting and texture improvements on other characters or NPCs? No Craig memes this year because they didn't show any in game enemies. That on top of a "vague" holiday 2021 release date after they last said Fall 2021 is worrying.

I might just be getting old but remember when E3 actually walked through game modes? Like it was an actually demonstration and not a trailer? Did you hear "ordinance drop?" I couldn't tell if this was BTB or a mix.
The lack of campaign is alarming this late in the game. It tells me, it is what is. Generally by now, we would have gotten an opening mission walk demo of some sort. I have a feeling this one is slipping again. It's not enough shown for a full year of extra development.

I'm not clear what campaign footage you think you saw because there wasn't any.
This is pretty much the worst possible thing they could have done - no actual footage and no actual release date when they knew everyone was looking for both.
It now looks like they haven't done much in the past year other than finish a game that was clearly in at best, alpha state, last year. So what we'll be getting is not shit graphics but something average - not shocking given 12 months was not nearly enough time to truly fix anything.
If MS doesn't clean house at 343 after Infinite's release then there is no positive future for Halo.

I'm really worried for Halo Infinite, guys. E3 2021 was the good choice for the gameplay of campaign. The only gameplay was that of Multiplayer, wow but I wanted the campaign. This is the 20th anniversary of Halo.

My guess is Staten was brought on too late and he is made Studio head after release and Bonnie Ross and Frankie are fired. All campaign expansions going forward target next gen (Series X/S/PC).

We get enemy color outlines instead of RvB. People can't justify microtransactions if they never see them in F2P MP as cosmetic microtransactions are funding MP.

That's Campaign footage, the flyover at the start is just the camera pulled out, and we see two custscenes from the game. Plenty time for us to see campaign gameplay before holiday this year.

The Series version runs at 120fps, One version is 60fps. Campaign gameplay will drop at some point but the MP gameplay looked awesome.

They were careful to keep the camera tight on Chief for 90% of the trailer and show nothing of the open world; Wise move - people will attack and dissect no matter how much they improved things, and it's never going to look good enough to stop trolls picking through frames for the next big meme. This was MS's only move. Unfortunately it killed any excitement for me. I did think the MP trailer looked awesome!

Yes this was very impressive, and that's only one part of the Halo ring. I'm feeling exactly like you on this, the dialogue in the first custscene is just brilliant "you have one bullet against an entire army, what can you do on your own?" Chief: "I told you it's enough".

showed pretty much nothing but it's the first time a 343 trailer had the tone of some of the bungie era stuff. I'm still sceptical because last year all the story related bits were super shitty. It doesn't inspire confidence that they are still being real coy but I'm guessing they are crunching hard on the single player.

Cortana 2.0 was pretty much confirmed by the lead in novel.
People complained they wanted the original Halo again - 343 took it literally.

So they showed nothing about the game no actual cut of the game in motion, no info on the open world, weapons, is there a patrol option? What can expect from this?
Like I get it, drop a snazzy trailer with 1% actual gameplay to hype this up but if 343 ain’t showing nothing at the biggest show for gaming then they got nothing.
