I never played a Souls game and I’m hyped for this. So glad it’s a cross-gen title.
The world looks like it’ll be a joy to explore and discover. And the enemy designs are so varied and cool, with a couple of them reminding me of Shadow of the Colossus. I’m actually surprised the trailer showed so many of them.
Those are bullshots
Well it’s true for RE8.That's not true at all
art direction looks like all other souls game ( nothing impressive imo ), gameplay has to be seen but i think it ll be just like other souls games anda base item description is not the most exciting way to tell a storyWhy do people care so much about graphics? Art Direction, Gameplay, Story are what matter the most. Those are things that age well. Oh and good soundtrack too.
Graphics are the least important imo, they just need to be good or standard, no need to be revolutionary.
Those images are straight up artistically edited/enhanced. It's actually pretty easy to tell.Supersampled and sharpened for sure, but not impossible on PC, probably.
Indeed, Sekiro suffered a lot from having a pretty straight forward character progression/customization IMO. I really appreciated getting actual new attacks and skills though.Oh it's confirmed you create your own character and playstyle, awesome, i love Sekiro a lot, but gotta admit i miss those customizing aspects of the Souls game, so the replay value will be infinite like old Souls games, so excited can't wait!!
If serious I'm starting to worry about this cross-gen shit. Why does it look like it came from 2015?
Last one was in 2016...Yup. It’s another Souls game.
Another one.
*yawn*
I meant that in terms of they didn’t really put any bells and whistles on it for next gen. Some cross gen games there’s noticeable difference, but there won’t be for this; aside from performance of course. It is a PS4/Xbone game...
You can run Tetris at 8K/120.I'm amazed that people aren't impressed by the visuals. I for one can't wait to get my ass handed to me over and over and over and over again in all that glorious 4K/60. Bring it Miyazaki!
Last one was in 2016...
Is it me or does Bloodborne look more advanced technically?
Demon souls 2020 is the same game as the ps3 version with better graphics. No new areas or enemies.Technically the last one was in 2020 with the Bluepoint remake.
Just tired of these already. Same ol shit but with new art and some new character models. It might as well be Dark Souls 4. I mean at least Sekiro tried to branch out and do something a little different.
The graphics are fine, the problem is its the 5th game with an indistinguishable setting, if you told me parts of this trailer were from DS3 with a FROM enemy randomiser I'd believe you. sekiro and BB had a much stronger aesthetic identity. It doesn't look bad but it looks exactly like souls and different people have a different tolerance for experiencing similar things over and over. If this was DS2 id be having a heart attack, sadly its not.I'm amazed that people aren't impressed by the visuals. I for one can't wait to get my ass handed to me over and over and over and over again in all that glorious 4K/60. Bring it Miyazaki!
AbsolutelySOLD! See you in 7 months! Never stop praising!
Yes but seem to be grounded in engine for sure. You can see the in game graphicsThose are bullshots

Looks good and I will be playing the shit out of this, however this really makes me laugh at all the fake insiders around this game. Nothing here screams particularly Norse or Celtic besides the tree of life logo in a camp and maybe the redhead. Just seems like the usual FromSoftware mishmash of fantasy monsters from different mythos. If this was called Dark Souls 4 that wouldn't be out of place. Calling you "tarnished" instead of "hollow" or "ashen" doesn't really scream new to me. Would have liked a bit of change in the architecture from what we've seen from their previous titles. This just looks like a more open Dark Souls. Which is a little bit of a missed opportunity.
With that being said I am on board and will be playing day 1. I am sure the game will be great. Hoping the lore will be interesting to discover.
Dark souls 3 in pc is still my go-to 4k showcase. So much detail. Shame no hdrThere's a lot going on but that engine is starting to show it's age.
try to look again but also element of game design this time.Looks the same as every From Software game released last generation.
What exactly makes this different to Dark Souls 3?
But it is not a new souls game. Your way of reasoning is shit. I bet you are one of those who buys the yearly CoD or ubisoft crap and come out as hypocrite with these so called souls fatigue. You know what I mean dude
Looks the same as every From Software game released last generation.

I mean at least Sekiro tried to branch out and do something a little different. Whatevs, I know a new Souls circlejerk is an impossible one to break.

If you don’t like FROM games then why do you care how they design their games? You are not the target audience for this game.I know a new Souls circlejerk is an impossible one to break.
