But at least there is this:

Battlefield 6 May Not Have A Story Campaign Mode

Tom Henderson:
"As I've mentioned for the past couple of months, I'm yet to hear of a campaign. It doesn't mean there isn't one, but it's very, very unusual to not hear of one in an info dump."
It's important to remember that this doesn't come as confirmation, as it's only speculation for now. Besides, it could be that EA is waiting for the reveal to showcase its story trailer and generate as much hype as it can

BF4's campaign might not have been as flashy as a CoD campaign but I thought it was quite fun and added value to the package.

It was rather mediocre but I did beat it. Something I can't say about the campaigns of 1 and V. I kind of liked BF3's campaign though. I liked the locations, and the halo jump and fighter jet were pretty cool.

I see people dont really care about them, but I honestly liked BC2, BF3 and even the BF4 one a bit. I've kinda replayed them over the years as they are stupid fun. Didnt care about BF1 of BFV ones as I dont like the new char per chapter approach.

I understand why people say multiplayer should be the focus, I mostly buy these games for multy also but not sure I would agree with just dropping the campaign while still having 60$ price (or worse). Like are we sure we will get more stuff for multiplayer since the SP is gone? like x2 the nr of maps and stuff? I think gamers are rushing a bit in applauding this and this will just be a way for EA to save some money while not providing anything else in its place but still going for same price.

good as far as I'm concerned. less to download and I'll never play it.
Yeah this.

Saves space and it redirects time and resources to the part of the game that actually matters. Nobody is buying Battlefield or CoD for the campaigns.

I believe a lot of people actually play and enjoy the CoD campaign. But I never hear good things about the BF campaigns except in Bad Company.
I'm not saying people don't enjoy the campaign when its there. I'm saying they don't buy the game for them. Nobody drops $60 on Battlefield or CoD for the campaign.

Both of the series could drop their single player campaigns and the games would still sell like crazy on launch.

Which is why it's day 1 Gamepass, but it maybe in EAPlay vault day 1 too, so PS uses can subscribe to that service if they don't want to pay full price. Wouldn't surprise me if it's day 1 with stadia pro pass too! Not that it's relevant.

No campaign means I'll wait for it to hit EA play to fuck around with the multiplayer for a couple of days until inevitably get bored.

Pretty much made for EA Play, Gamepass, PSNow. Expect microtransactions too, if not now then 100% later.

I cant say BF ever had a good campaign. But when games start leaving out obviously big production/time consuming assets like a campaign mdoe, I just dont understand how you can charge $60 for the game again. For what....6 multiplayer maps and a BR map that a lot of games offer as a F2P. That was the same for Black Ops 4. Though it was no secret, it wasnt supposed to be that way, they just fucked up along the way and tried to salvage what they could. Did I feel ripped off for paying $60 without the campaign, yes I did. I mean their campaigns are 10ish hrs long, they have famous actors used as characters, movie writers tell the story...so I got that last time for $60 and now I pay the same but with 40% less cost for them.
