Exec teases upcoming titles headed to Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Studios is currently working on exciting unannounced titles, according to Xbox head of gaming services marketing Ben Decker. The executive teased the upcoming content in a GamesRadar interview focused on research the company has conducted into Xbox Game Pass, which has attracted over 18 million subscribers. The service offers access to a library of over 100 games, including all Xbox Game Studios titles at launch, and a survey of 14,000 consumers found that 55 percent of subscribers joined primarily to get new games at release.

“That’s why we made the investments that we have,” said Decker. “We have 23 studios across Xbox and Bethesda, working on Halo, Forza, Fallout, and new IP that we haven’t even talked about yet that’s gonna blow your mind. We can deliver all of that into Game Pass on day one.”
Xbox boss Phil Spencer said in March that delivering exclusive games for platforms that support Xbox Game Pass was the primary reason Microsoft purchased Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax in a $7.5 billion deal.

Xbox Game Pass now houses 20 Bethesda titles.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers spend 20 percent more overall than non-subscribers, Microsoft’s gaming ecosystems boss claimed in March. Sarah Bond also said subscribers spend on average 20 percent more time playing games, play 30 percent more games and play 40 percent more genres. May’s new Xbox Game Pass titles include Dragon Quest Builders 2, FIFA 21, Outlast 2, Steep, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Just Cause 4: Reloaded, Psychonauts, Red Dead Online and Remnant: From the Ashes.

PlayStation
Studios boss Hermen Hulst told Wired this week that Sony Interactive Entertainment has over 25 first-party PS5 games in development, nearly half of which are entirely new IP. “There’s an incredible amount of variety originating from different regions,” the Guerrilla Games co-founder claimed. “Big, small, different genres.”

Oh, so what you were really asking is how many 3rd person semi open world action games have scored over 90 on Xbox. Gotcha.

Has there been even one 90+ metacritic Xbox IP last gen? Sorry man, they need to prove themselves first. Moneyhatting Betheseda isn't enough this gen.

"show me 90+ games on Xbox by MS"

"no not those games, they can't be on PC"

"no not those games, that's a racing game and a flying game"

"no they must be a third person cinematic action game or they don't count"

Talk about goalpost moving lol

Xbox =/= PC. Was talking about Xbox exclusives, not a hard concept to understand. Not my fault Xbox exclusives don't exist anymore. No more reason to buy an Xbox, better buy a PC so you can play the superior versions.

No point in buying a PlayStation then. Superior multiplatform and their games eventually make it to PC as we are seeing with Horizon and days gone.

Imagine being this triggered by a console.

Screw new IP's Microsoft how about you pull your finger out and do something... ANYTHING with the Freelancer IP you have literally been sitting on for over a decade...

Know how Star Citizen is the world's biggest scam and how Elite Dangerous is also massive.... yeah your literally sat on a fully realised universe with a set of rules in a genere that is more popular than its ever been.... AND DO FUCKING NOTHING! Instead we get what is going to be a shit Halo entry (again) and some new IP which will most likely be a generic FPS so you can try and set up an Esports scene and sell lootboxes.

Most of the Freelancer devs work on Star Citizen now, including Chris Roberts.
I agree though, loved the hell out of Freelancer.
