GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
I still want my New Vegas and Fallout 3 remaster with achievements, especially after playing replaying Fallout 4 and being only partially satisfied.

I can't see two massive AAA games in Halo Infinite and Starfield coming out around the same time. Maybe one of them will release in September and the other one will release in November.

Battlefield: late August
Starfield: September
Fora Horizon 5: October
Halo Infinite: November 15(20 year anniversary)

Madden hits in August. EA probably won't release Madden and Battlefield at the same time. Battlefield will probably be October.

Well we just saw Age of Empires IV and quite frankly it was pretty underwhelming. So if they're planning that as part of some big quadruple punch I'd say there is a rather weak link in that combo already. Halo Infinite has a lot to make up for after last year's absurd reveal and I'm not terribly confident in 343. I think they're a bloated studio that has been allowed to fumble around with the franchise a little too long. But, I'm very hopeful that they do indeed pull it off with the next Halo because I REALLY want to play a damn good Halo again.

That being said, Forza Horizon 5 will likely be damn good as it has been but I'm curious if Playground is developing this one and, if so, what that means for Fable's timeline. Because I'm way more interested in that than an open world racer. Starfield will be nice to finally see after all the hype despite knowing next to nothing about it. I'm curious to see if Bethesda has dusted itself off and gotten back on track after Fallout 76.
What happened at last reveal could be a big motivator for the team at 343 to surprise everyone.

Not surprised at all as that's what I have been expecting for months. The last six months is going to be packed for Microsoft and Xbox. Expecting Flight Simulator in August for Series X/S, Wolfenstein III in September for Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, Forza Horizon 5 in October for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC as well as Halo Infinite on November 12th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

Expecting Starfield to be at the Bethesda Showcase but im staying with March 2022 as the release date. No reason for Microsoft to pack the Fall which will already be packed for them especially if early 2022 is empty like it has been now. They would be far better off holding Starfield until March 2022.

Expecting all of the above to be at the Microsoft or Bethesda showcases. Then at X021 which I can easily see being in October, they can have a deep dive for Halo Infinite which would be less than a month away at this point and Starfield which would be five months away.

E3 is going to be awesome overall...super hyped!!! The Microsoft showcase especially is going to have a lot of stuff. Kojima will be in some kind of announcement, UPlay gets added to Game Pass Ultimate, Battlefield 6 will most likely be day one on Game Pass as well as seeing the remakes of KOTOR 1 & 2 which I very much want to see.

And this is just from the Microsoft and Bethesda showcases (yes, there will be two, one for each as previously planned). Ubisoft is there, there's the PC gaming showcase, Future Games Showcase and I believe that Nintendo has been confirmed as well. Hyped!!!

This is true, but I think they may take time to polish this one extra considering it’s an original IP, the poor reception of FO76 and that it’s Bathesda’s first tent pole release as part of Xbox Studios. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a full on trailer this e3 and a hard release date but for next year (despite their usual quick turnaround from reveal to release).
I feel like this time next year would be a great place for Starfield to drop

Yeah thats how i feel about most of these people. Game companies are always quiet so its easy for them to make up whatever shit they want then go on the offensive when they are proven wrong. “PlAnS ChAnGED” is their favorite hole to crawl under
Well speculation and rumors didnt begin and won't end with these guys. But I agree with the sentiment..I personally am a little disappointed that MS and Sony are keeping their cards so close to their chest and we got new machines..Then again I think all of us wanting to see MORE games that justify our hardware purchases may be making us as gamers a little bit more antsy, especially for Xbox since they've made all these acquisitions.

Either way I'm happy with where gaming is going for my ps5/series x/pc and Switch. I just wanna see some fire lol

Starfield's copyright is for 2021, meaning they expect it to release this year and not 2022.
I know but im staying with March 2022 like I have since last year. Not changing it. If im wrong, im wrong. No biggie.

Why is everyone crazy about Japan?
I want to drive on the right side of the road for once.

because it would look amazing and has all the location options you could want with cities, rural, mountains, coastal.

But yeah, they haven’t driven on the right side of the road since the original in Colorado.

So where would be best outside of Japan?
Italy in my opinion would be brilliant, there's some incredible roads, things like the Mille Miglia, driving on the Fiat Garages roof track, the race track etc. and obviously you have the history of the car manufacturers. I know FH2 had some northern Italian locations but I would love to see FH5 modelled on Italy as a whole.

Sounds amazing, hopefully it's a beautiful and unique setting whatever location.

Well I'd love to see Starfield sooner. Reminds me of Fallout 4. It was announced, I was excited, and I didn't have to wait long to play it, and it was exactly the game I needed at the time. Had a blast the whole way through. I'm also interested as to when Psychonauts 2 will drop. I can't wait to see what's next for Raz and friends. Man I hope I get a whole 'nother 15 years of quotes to perform. So many awesome levels and game design. Can't wait to try Flight Sim and next Forza, and I really hope that Halo turns out alright. It has potential, the memes were fun, but I wish them the best.

I am still having a hard time with the belief Starfield will have a massive reveal in a few months and then be out end of 2021 but yet somehow be totally exclusive to Xbox. Yes I realize they bought the studio, and only just months ago, but wouldnt that mean the game was almost totally complete with what I can only assume includes a PS4/PS5 version. They really would just toss out and throw that in the garbage even if its literally right there and basically done. Doesnt make any sense but we will see how it ends up either way.

It's not unprecedented. Fallout 4 was revealed at E3 n June 2015 and released in November the same year. New Vegas was first revealed at E3 and released the same year. Oblivion was revealed in May, slated for a fall release, but was ultimately delayed until March. Fallout 3 had two teasers in 2007, but the first look at the game wasn't until the E3 the year of it's release.

The acquisition has been in the works for a very long time, so it's not unreasonable that work on a PS5 version was never even started. Dev kits wouldn't have shipped out until Both Bethesda and Microsoft were already deep into negotiation.

Might be possible if Motorsport is already in an alpha stage
I find it amazing that Forza 8 (or whatever it's going to be called) isn't more advanced in its development. It's been nearly 4 years and Turn 10 could usually pump out each new Forza every 2 years even with a jump to a new console.
Hope it means its going to be something really special

Aren't they building an entirely new ForzaTech engine? I would imagine that takes a fair while.

I obviously don't know how long and consistent these alpha and beta stages are but having an closed external alpha stage seems to indicate that they aren't that 'far' off. I think it's a 2022 release.

That's disappointing to me, this should be a big Christmas 2021 game IMO. I'm sick of reading how MS have all these studies and games in development. They need to start showing them and more so getting out.

Didn't they do the same from Forza 1 to 2? It seems such a long time for a team that really only needed 2 years and Playground games had even less time for Forza Horizon 5 and yet people say that's coming out 1st?
Hopefully it means the results will be really special for Forza 8 then

Of course. Because that means Phil Spencer deliberately canceled PS5 version which WAS in development since Sony tried to sign a timed exclusivity deal.

There is no irony with Xbox fan like Idle Sloth
The irony is that you're crying because mean Phil Spencer took the game away from Sony... While Sony was attempting to take the game away from Xbox.

Uh....100% exclusive means one version is canceled then. . That is waaaay different than timed exclusive

Luckily we have the perfect console for you, it’s called Xbox Series S.

:messenger_tears_of_joy:

fr though I do love that you are a pretty big PS fanboy yet here you are covertly port begging for Starfield. If it doesn’t come to PS though, I do hope you get to play it on Xbox, PC or xCloud though.

All I expect from these shows nowadays is CGI trailers, no way to leave disappointed that way.

Also everybody that is happy that someone else doesn't get to play a game is so pathetic lol.

The good thing about Xbox exclusives is that you can also play them on PC. There is really no need for anyone to be butthurt, yet here we are.

Port begging yet Starfield was already in development for both current gen consoles, just Sony tried to deal a timed exclusive last year. Nice try, mate

LOL, port begging, yet PS5 version exists.

- No left hand drive traffic ;)
On one hand I would love to see Japan. On the other hand, I want some normal right hand drive traffic.

And winter is more annoying than anything. Mexico might bring back the sunny feeling of Horizon 2 & 3.

I would still prefer Forza 8 this year.
