Good, a pleaser surprised to see Sony reverse the decision. Rip psp store, but the prices are stupid high, and downloading ISOs and playing them on psp/vita/pc is so easy, it’s not a lose to loose the psp store at all lol.

Vita means life!

As a proud Vita owner I could not be more pleased! Even though I have not turned it on in a while there are still many great games I have yet to buy and play.

I want to play the rest of the Zero Escape games for example. Have only played one of them on Vita. But greatly enjoyed it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So they recognize that gamers are passionate about purchasing old games. They also say the decision was initially born from wanting to focus their efforts on newer hardware.

It's like they're so close to coming to the conclusion that people would be happy buying older games (PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Vita) if they were playable on the PS5.

Is it wrong to think they did this only when they got too see the sales numbers during the last few weeks?

I imagine they realised there was more people out there willing to buy games on those platforms than they thought.

Shit decision cancelled. That's good.

Jim Ryan will use the money spent by people thinking the store would close to pay his extras.

PSP is still closing though. Why?

It's a loss IMO, PSP has got a great library even if it's stuck in 480x272. (Upscaled emulators show PSP in striking clarity, and although it doesn't improve the graphics, it's still fun to play PSP games on a small Vita screen.) And Sony closing any store is just a sign that they're just delating the inevitable, but at least PS3 and Vita survived.

Wish they could have just transferred the library from the "PSP Store" to the "Vita Store". It can't be the file storage that's the problem, they still have to keep all these products in the server farm as they still promised re-downloading, so whatever the infrastructure problem is that costs too much to maintain these "Stores", simplify instead of eliminate, please?

Temporarily taking them away was prob just a method to gauge and determine the numbers of those who were still interested in those systems. It’s a shrewd move but they knew people would have meltdowns about it, especially through social media.

Please tell me some of you also saw and/or considered this.
