Yeah, but the damage is already done. There was a lot of hype for this game that clearly died after the demo.

I was similarly unimpressed by the tech demo - just cus I felt it was weird that it had no real gameplay and the graphics weren’t mind blowing. But I’m pretty stoked to try an actual demo of it

Uh God no. RE6 was awful. Some parts are ok but most of the levels are americanish Hollywood setpieces incredibly uninspired with disjointed locations/characters, chaotic and repetitive gameplay mechanics, where the pacing wasn't exactly well condensed. Some good ideas definitely but in the end terrible whole execution. From this point of views RE7 is a league ahead.

Yeah, I remember Capcom not being in a great state when 6 originally dropped. That's wild. Yeah, to each their own for sure. I think the old head in me is just turned off by the idea of co-op in a RE title, unless it's some silly tacked on mode. It just feels so off brand to me. It's why I was so weird about it with RE5.

RE started with survival horror, and ultimately that's where I'd like to see it stay personally. Though I'm impressed that they've tried to evolve the series in a number of ways. Well, and even at its worst it could've been even worse.

Yeah, that's probably exactly what it was. Unless crack was involved. I've had people tell me it was so stupid and over the top it was hard to not dig it in some way, lmao. I was like, "Uhhh, I don't follow", lol.

Not necessarily. I think the damage was done by the people that saw the test as a fully fledged demo. It wasn't an actual demo at all. It was basically a tacked on exclusive PS5 technical test/visual demo. If anything, they really should've been even more clear about that. But they did call it a "Visual Demo", so if people expected anything more than that, it was kind of on them.

Lets go. I don't expect anything besides RE8 stuff.

No way they are going to show RE4 Remake or something else so close to RE8 release.

Edit : Yeah maybe patches for RE2+3 Remake, but 50:50 on that

EDIT: So the demo unlocks twice 2 weekends in a row but is that same for everyone?

Mam this is the most confusing demo release of all time congrats Capcom.
