Sony Interactive Entertainment: Our Improved PlayStation 5 Packaging

The materials used for the PS5 console and accessories packaging are designed to be fully recyclable, and depending on the product, PS5 packaging per unit is between 93-99% plastic-free overall (by weight). Whilst we know there is still work to be done, there are a number of improvements we implemented to achieve this:

  • Designing packaging to be fully recyclable
  • Avoiding expanded polystyrene or plastic trays by using card inserts and paper pulp cushion trays
  • Replacing plastic cable ties with paper cable ties
  • Eliminating plastic protection bags used for cables and instruction manuals where feasible
  • Substituting plastic display windows for closed card boxes for PS5 accessories
  • Incorporating folding, rather than glued, hanger tabs to outer packaging

Shit isn't there antitrust laws that can prevent those problems?

Not really. For me especially because I live in a condo, making the HOA the effective owners of the exterior walls of my unit. But even in a housing subdivision, you'll have a lot of common ground owned by the HAO which is a problem since some digging will need to be done to get the fiber to individual homes.

That’s quite high for these sorts of things.
The petition to remove Jim Ryan started over two months ago and only has 2k signatures for example.
The vast majority of people are really indifferent about days gone....if this was God of war this would have hit 1 mil by now

The benefits of a private subdivision still outweigh the cons, in Florida anyway. On the bright side, I had been paying $70/mo. for 200mbit but the HOA negotiated a group rate for internet and added it to the cable package that was already included. Now I have the 400mbit package for "free", but the monthly HOA fee went up $20/mo. So a savings of $50/mo. Every cheap bastard likes that. :messenger_tongue:

Damn. Thats pretty good. I am gonna suggest this to my HOA.

I am paying $35 for 100 Mbps but i have to threaten to leave them every couple of years to get the discount rate. Otherwise it would be around $60.

I don't know how AMD tech works, but does it use discrete cores just like DLSS on Nvidia cards?

I doubt it, seeing that AMD doesn't produce consumer cards with dedicated hardware for low-precision integer programming. I'm assuming it's all just based on the latest revision of rapid packed math, that would allow it to run on older cards too, just less efficiently.

Ask me about my wife's perfect butthole
Honestly would be perfectly fine w/ Bend Studio making a non-Days Gone open world game w/ vehicles. Just PLEASE don't litter it w/ Sony's boring ass cookie cutter story mission layouts.
