I just played and finished Ys 9. Hitman 3 before that. I am playing Persona 5 Strikers. I have Ateiler Ryza 2 to play. I may play Yakuza 7 with the PS5 upgrade. Maybe try out Ni-Oh 2 now that a PS5 version is out. In Apirl Guilty Gear Strive will be out and that will take a lot of time. Oh and I have the PS5 version of Control to play that was given away on Plus.

I think my point went over your head. I buy and play games I'm interested in when they come out. Gamepass does nothing for me because by the time a game comes to it that I wanted to play, I've already bought it and played through it.

Yeah, it was great for trying out the Medium. A game I didn't care about and thus did not play for more than an hour.

As someone who plays a lot of games, I'm not waiting for the games I have an actual interests in to come to game pass. And third-party games coming day 1 is rare if a thing at all.

Qanon have better conspiracy theories. Why is it so difficult for Sony fanboys to tolerate Pro xbox articles. Majority of them are still all about Sony. No need to be upset.

People can switch to Xbox, some people like the short to medium term value GamePass may bring to the as consumers, and some of these posters you accuse and leap to the usual circling of the wagons for also own both consoles and invested quite a bit of money on each in terms of software too.

Still, these articles do seem very similar to each other, but fine I will take the anger and take a step back if you genuinely believe when Epic outsized PS5 I/O and how it influenced UE5 development without jumping to a “Sony invested in Epic, they bought the praise from Sweeney and the Epic engineers”.

They probably seem similar to eachother because a lot of people, gamepass is a huge draw. After having the PS1 - PS4 I bought the series X first because of gamepass. It really is that good so of course people are writing about it.

Know what happened when I said in Nov I'm making the switch. Gaffers accused me of being a fake account and trying to 'encourage people to switch to the xbox' . Your comments just echo the ridiculous conspiracies console fanboys come out with. If the articles are word for word or similar sentences I could understand.... But just because it's the same topic it must be paid? Like no other topic can be discussed twice on two different websites otherwise its some sort of conspiracy? It's boring and the same old lines.

There is : Demons, Sackboy, Miles, Astro.... Soon Returnal. You know, after 5 months, bunch of people stilly trying to buy PS5 and play these games which i've mentioned. That's why you see Demons on the charts.

Anyway, you literally called XSX as a backward compatibility machine. Btw. XSX isn't always better at BC, in some games PS5 runs it better. Also, MS marketed it as a BC console at launch. 😂

I am fine with console fans to be excited and oversell it, but I think you are seeing an online response when a certain line (without much depth to it) is oversold and plastered as def evident truth... but not it must be the Sony anti Xbox agenda if it is not seen as the best thing God have Earth and just good or for some not even that.
Dangers of evangelising it as a religious doctrine maybe? Then again that is what some Nintendo and Sony fans do too and yeah, it smells like BS as well.

I'm glad he mentioned the FPS Boost in the article, it's a really amazing feature that turns last gen completely on its head, the best console versions of Far Cry 4 and Watch Dogs 2 are now on Xbox, 60fps transforms these games and there is a lot more to come no doubt, plus it's free with not even a patch to be downloaded, incredible.

Yeah, I can agree with that if that were an absolute generalised pattern in an individual or group. It would be problematic for sure. People may have good or shorty opinions without being paid for or without to having industry buddies, but it is naive to expect it never to happen.

It does not become an invalid criticism if it were to come from the same area of “UE5 PS5 comments were paid for, here is the ‘check’”, but it does make it “feel” a bit disingenuous.

Yep, overall BC support is a big win for XSX and the lack of PS2 and especially PS3 titles on PS5 and the good support of OG Xbox and Xbox 360 titles on XSX was, with Flight Simulator 2020, one of the reasons I was and am happy with my XSX purchase.

It is really great to see 60 FPS support added to games without patches required, quite an incredible feat... but it is a very small selection of games, so it does not turn the entire last generations on their heads.

It's only the first batch of games, as more and more come online there could be a decent size pool of last gen games with double or even quadruple framerates, that's a transformative move for last gen games. If they manage more Xbox One X versions as well then it really means the difference on Xbox will be massive.

The Xbox Series X is a solid console, and it has a lot going for it. However, I also think that it would be at its most appealing for someone who only buys one console and doesn’t have a PC.

For the customer who wants to pick up an Xbox, have Gamepass, and play his old games, it’s probably perfection. Microsoft’s efforts towards improving old games is impressive, and they’ve obviously learned something from what people love about PCs. Gamepass only is also an entirely valid way of approaching a console.

The Series S/X has had a rough start, but it will definitely improve. Relative to Sony it looks even worse, because of what Sony did with their dev tools that let Sony look strong right out of the gate. But that is largely a temporary thing, and things will balance out in time.

I could see myself getting a Series X at some point both as a way into this gen and as a great way to play all of the games I missed out on from previous Xbox generations.

It’s a shame it doesn’t quite get the credit it deserves around here.

he basically lied about specs (obviously justified with a simple: cross Wired information from sources), gone crazy about the reveal (because according to him Sony had to present the console better) he started doing PR for free from his Twitter doing sony work for months after launch. this just in the last year. Everyone can have an opinion about others ...mine about J.S. is that I think he is clearly strongly biased towards Sony. Plus I don't like his personality and his way of doing journalism. Bonus is that he doesn't accept the comparison with those who don't think like him. Let's stay on the subject of the thread now.

Unlike the PS5 with it's two year-old game and it's DLC. Oh, and a remake, that makes all the difference.

The Xbox Series line up for next gen so far is shit, but let's not pretend the PS5 line up isn't weak too. My PS5 is hopefully arriving next week and the games I'm looking forward to play are RDR2 -if they patch the game to take advantage of the hardware instead of having to play the shitty PS4 Pro version-, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and NBA 2K21.

So far, the best thing about next gen has been retrocompatibility and the Series X is the best there, especially with the gamepass combo. But they could have easily launched the consoles in 2021 instead of 2020, because next gen so far has been lackluster to say the least.

Who cares why someone prefers Xbox Series to PS5? Just like why would someone care that another individual prefers PS5 to Xbox Series? At the end of the day this article is just a overly long way of someone stating their preference.

Both consoles have their pros and cons and it is easy to see why someone would like one or the other, they're both great feats of technology and despite the arguments around either console, the bottom line is as long as you're happy with your purchase nothing else matters.

well you personally said a number of things in the dieshot thread that turned out to be completely wrong. And you continued to support these objectively incorrect theses even after being proven wrong by those who have been examining dieshot for years (and even by stanard). Others would have at least been warned. But let's put a stone on the past
