Wtf does Bowsers Fury do different than past 3D Mario games? I am excited!
I never could get into this game on Wiiu. I tried but I was just so hurt it wasn’t a sequel proper to Mario Galaxy 2 that I was not in the mood for this game at that time.... BUT, enough time has passed that I’m actually excited to revisit it tomorrow.

LOL typical craptendo. Mediocre game on shit hardware
But it's not a mediocre game. It's excellent and fun. It's just the Bowser's Fury part can't maintain 60.

It's time for an upgrade imo. But the problem now is this covid situation. Maybe they wanted to release new hardware but were limited.

Imagine if all Sony had on the PS4 was knack, Sackboy, LBP and LittleBigPlanet karting.
Those games just can't compete with Nintendo's offerings. If they would try to compete with Nintendo at their game they would need to step up their game. Luckily they don't need to as their main focus shifted towards games like God of War and Uncharted.

Sony can never outclass nintindo in platforms or in IPs in general

nintindo is like disney in video games

but they on the right track with astro bot I would say

I owned Wii U so this is a pass for me until a sale, why they left out Galaxy 2 of last two games is pretty greedy.

I think it's good that Sony is doing their own thing. Their attempts of recreating Nintendo titles rarely worked out, although they had a bunch of cool games in the PS1- and PS2-era like Ape Escape or Crash and Spyro, but generally they can't compete with Nintendo at their own game so they diversified and made a spectrum of games Nintendo can't compete with either.

Yay another Wii U port that I already played to death 7 years ago. My Switch continues to collect dust for the foreseeable future.

Ps. Super Mario 3D Land was the better game

It's probably not worth it if I played it already on WiiU. Dat price tag :messenger_fearful:
You guys know it comes with an extra decent size mode right; it’s in the title? It’s up to you to decide if you want to play that mode and experience the ideas that future 3D Marios will probably be using.

I'm playing it right now, and I think it's awesome (I hated Odyssey)

It's different because well, it's open world. Although not quite. Hard to explain.

Bowser sometimes comes around and changes the levels in interesting ways, throws fireballs at you and etc., so it changes the gameplay and keeps things engaging.

Love that there are different power ups and not the cap mechanic anymore (hated it)

It's not Galaxy good, but I'm enjoying it way more than Galaxy

Little problem for Sony there is that their audience will never, ever consider Astrobot reason enough to buy a console. Nor do Sony themselves.

This is why Astro’s Playroom is a freebie while Nintendo can sell a Mario game at full price for years.
