I was told here that only the Xbox games were capable of being boosted in framerate like Warzone and Rocket league. If that isn't true why haven't those other PS4 games been boosted like this one?

Some of you are purposely dense to fit your narrative.

On both consoles if the framerate is locked to 30 then nothing will be boosted unless the dev releases a patch to update the game to 60 like the division.

Games with unlocked frame rates will see that boosted up to 60 same with games with dynamic resolution. You will see the res hit the higher end.

Those games you mentioned received a patch to use 120fps on series x..

Xbox Series X BC allows for quick updates on Xbox version for quick boosted frame rate additions. There are Xbox Series X games that still runs at 30fps from the Xbox One X versions because of frame rate caps. It's as simple as that, if a game has frame rate cap, no way can Xbox nor PS unlock them unless the devs patch it in. Its going to be very very difficult for both of them to brute force unlock the frame rate cap from a hardware side of things. I think Xbox might be able to, they've got Brute by their side

I saw videos and the game still looks far from the original bull shots. We were pretty foolish back then thinking we would come close to this within the last generation.

If I remember rightly, DF speculated that the pro was checker boarding and that the pro had a higher frame rate than the one x in this game.

Have 2 TV's set up and noticed my friends lighting was way better on ps4 pro. Plugged it into my TV l(oled) and was shocked at the difference when switching between both inputs with identical settings.

I agree. I was a bit disappointed that even TD2 couldn't get close to the OG E3 demo. Maybe later on this gen we might finally get that level of treatment.

Coop is extremely fun, single player is extremely fun. They really dialed the game in, nailed the gear, graphics, world, progression.

Yes the volumetric fog is completely removed on PS5. It's probably a bug.

I finished the game up to the point when Black Tusk showed up awhile ago. With the patch decided to go back in a play the world tiers. So glad I did. The Tidal Basin mission was great. And then to unlock levels such as The Pentagon that are really good. Games on par with the first.
Those who gave up should stick with it if they liked the first one. The game keeps giving more and more. And I'm really excited to see what Massive does with Star Wars. The level design and detail will be awesome.

Picked this up yesterday via the PSN shop on PS5. They have a two pack deal-The Division and The Division 2 for only $17 TOTAL. Great deal for both games.

I don't think they updated The Division with a 4k/60fps patch so didn't install it.

I did install Division 2 though and it's really good. Silky smooth. Load times are very fast. Great gun play and cover mechanics. Some of the best IMO. Not
noticing too much in terms of visual anomalies, though I did catch some distant LOD issues where the scenes look like they're being "painted in". It's kinda
hard to describe. Not a in your face "pop in" but rather some buildings, etc fading INTO view. I guess there's been an issue with "fog" but honestly I'm not
bothered by it not being present. Hopefully they'll further patch it to address some of these issues going forward.

I'll play through the main campaign and then wait for the "New York" expansion to go on sale. Can't justify the current $30 for it when I just paid around 8 bucks for the
full game.

DavidGzz Yes, you can solo the game though if you want to(Raids on the other hand....) and you can pause the game at any time during gameplay.

Not really. Also pausing doesn’t stop the game world/enemies, but you return to safe house when quiting. I’m playing solo on XsX, it looks great. Keep getting notifications from other players asking for help, but ignore because I’m afraid I’ll have to ditch them for some life reason.

Cool, so I played it before and I was trying to start a mission but it kept starting a lobby looking for players. I guess it's in the options? I couldn't figure out how to do some of the missions solo. Maybe some of them require a team?

The final Darpa Labs part of the Pentagon level has me beat, the final boss battle is a total nightmare. Semi circular arena battle with about 30 black tusk constantly flanking you, two auto gun turrets in the centre, grenade launching robot sentrys dropping their shit on you, then if you last until the boss appears, he starts hitting you with 'Flash Bang blinding' rounds and then he launches mortar strikes at you if you stay in one spot too long oh and to top it all off he must have a hit score of about 20 million and numerous med packs to keep regenerating!!

...and just to get to the final stage, you have go through three areas first.

I just don't think its meant to be tackled solo, TBH. I've tried about 10-15 times now and to save my controller being thrown against the wall in a rage, I've given up on it.

The moment I started playing it I knew something was off, but the frame rate is silky smooth. So I kept progressing in the game. Not sure if we are going to get back volumetric lighting and fog. It's just not fog that's missing, but also volumetric fog and SSSR in the game.
