Ok, but you can still see people violently shot, crushed, burned, frozen, stabbed, poisoned, electrocuted, exploded, medically experimented on, impaled on alien spikes, driven insane by alien chuthu, black holed, melted alive into gray goop.
Why don't they remove all of that also? That sounds much much worse then some gratuitous ass shots.

They made a new game with no butt shots and it was a technically incompetent and buggy mess. Why insult those who worked on the original games by making a statement about how their artistic decisions were immoral? Man, they love to rewrite history. Make a new game that people actually want to play.
Also, Netflix is pretty progressive yet they have shots of that weird eyed chess girl running around in long shots with no bra and titties bouncing up and down. They're woke but they still give you chicks to look at. Video games seem to be disposing of pretty women while movies and TV can still have them.

That shot is more comical than sexy tbh.
But just in case you thought Bioware might redeem itself I hope this serves as a reminder that it will never do it. Not because the scene is a big deal, but because it's symbolic of the SJW mind-rot that infects this studio now. The only way it gets better is if they burn it to the ground & start over. It's also a very strange sense of perverted puritanism, where at the same time promiscuity is promoted at all turns and yet sexualisation is also strictly prohibited in many instances. A very schizoid and sick form of thought, somewhat reminiscent of the self-flagellation that used to be so popular with some religious individuals.
Good thing the modded version on PC is even better than this remaster, so we have the choice.

Years ago gamers of all stripes were unified in their opposition to attempts to censor games. It was so fun back then to just shoot the shit, play games, and tell the book burners to pound sand. And out of no where this great schism appeared. And suddenly it became fashionable to call gamers all sorts of names if they did not follow a certain political outlook. And here we are today, with people arguing over whether sex appeal belongs in videogames, even though countless people from both sides of the argument probably start and finish their day watching pornhub.
Anyway, here's my two cents on this topic. I played the hell out of the ME trilogy. It was, in my opinion, one of the best video game experiences of all time. If you never played these games, and the tech results of the remake look good in the reviews, I highly recommend giving it a go (but wait a bit, the cost should drop really fast). I think its absolutely stupid that the puritans were allowed to get their mitts on it, but the occasional gratuitous butt shots were not what made this trilogy so great.

Me? I'm looking forward to revisiting this series. Never played the DLC and find ME1 super rough to play now. Can't wait to see all the solid storytelling and gameplay(you know the things that actually matter about this game) in higher fidelity and better presented. I'm sure I won't even notice less of Miranda's butt. Which honestly, since I'm not a neckbeard and wasn't back when ME2 came out, I stopped noticing pretty much right after the scene that lives on in gif form. I said to myself "wow she has fitt ass, surprise that they modeled that" and then went on with my life.
