Ninguang's attacks failing to target the pillars, and hitting the thing on top .. which is immune. Clever girl.

..

So four more to go.. are we going to get a hydro, pyro, cryo, and dendro one ? I just can't at the though of a dendro one. Set on fire ..wait for dead.

Got something like 2100 or more. My girl Noelle sure was helpfull and took this villain alone with barelly any damage at all. Gonna sure reward her with a bigger sword.

Damn, I have her at C6 but I desperately need to lvl up 3 characters before her... HALP

Got Rank 8 Liyue rep today, so now I'm done with rep grind until new areas are released, or if they up the fame cap for the two existing areas. Done with Battle Pass for this iteration, done with any Dragonspine stuff for a few weeks now. Looks like I'm just daily grinding resin for the next few weeks. Do we have an approximate date for 1.3 yet?

I went through each character and matched them up with their most stylish glider now that I have quite a few. We still need a red one and a more purple-ish one, but I think so far all of my characters are matching pretty well.

Costumes when MHY?

Not soon enough ;_;

I wonder why they're not adding more interesting things to do while we run around open world.

Having a display for collectables/trophies/ your own farm/ship/house can make people stay longer in game without hurting their bottom line or being too taxing for mobiles.

Guilds are coming I presume? So maybe a guild castle? Anything to invest your time and materials.

Not everyone is a math junkie obsessed with big numbers and time challenges. Some people enjoy simple tasks and gradually expanding their base or getting closer to their characters not through blood sweat and tears but through cooking contests and fishing. Story quests are ok, but they're way too few, short and I think expensive to make because of all that voice acting.

I was hoping that they would do more with Dragonspire post-event. I did have a daily commission there 2 weeks ago (an adventurer's guild guy was freezing to death, even though he was 15ft away from one those braziers), but nothing since then. Love the atmosphere and music there, but don't have much of a reason to visit since I finished leveling up the tree.

I've been co-op clearing the cubes. I'm too lazy to actually try and solo them. The game makes you grind so much and battle hellish RNG for decent gear for your units so if you're not properly geared it sucks to try and solo the challenges so fuck it.

I go there to kill daily shamans, collect dragon teeth (I found 3) , catch 2 crystal flies and kill a daily boar boss. Take 10 minutes per day.
I didn't realize the boar boss reappears daily. What do you get for beating him?

Edit: He drops more frozen meat, which makes sense lol.

Best I did in a group was "hard in 180 seconds". Expert is simply impossible without min maxed party and lots of trial and errors.

This challenge represents exactly the things I loathe to do in each and every game. All those "ranking" maps, time limited "special events" etc. that gives you nothing but a bragging rights and some stupid icon/title/plate.

Nah, fuck dat noise. I play to enjoy myself and have fun. Ranking feels like a work and I have enough of it at work xD

I would absolutely love a base you could customize and place your characters in, even without rewards, just something else to do. A fun selection of minigames would be cool too like a poker table or fishing minigame, etc. Anything to add some variety to grinding the same things over and over. They probably don't want us lingering on their servers though, just pay up and get out.

Yea it's a shame. Crimson wishes could have easily remained a thing, even though they were just extra dailies you could do twice a week. At least it'd give us a reason to go back. Even if it's just 10 primos per quest, or even better a resin moon for doing all 5. I barely go there anymore either, mostly just when it's the closest healing tower.

There's 4 teeth (I don't think more) - three around wyrmrest valley, and one near the coast in far SE .. (I used hillichurl mask on the map) [the ! are the tablets mostly , except one odd puzzle on a wall that I'm not sure if there is more too..]

They already have chibi dorms in Honkai, I'd be suprised if something similar doesn't come, but when ?

Electro cube is the easiest of the cubes and it wasn't hard to score 3330 in co-op. Anemo cube actually had some new annoying mechanics and the best I could do with a group was 2970. Not bad I guess, I'm nowhere near geared enough to try for the 4K score runs the real hardcore guys are going after.

I'd hope for Genshin that it'd be a bit more than the Honkai dorms. The only interactivity there is watching them with a few unique animations for the more premium furniture (tvs, cooking stations, arcades etc). I'd like to see some housing that was actually functional, and at the very least a training dummy that you could set different elements/stats for to practice stuff. Also, something using the real character models instead of chibi. It'd also be a better place to send out expeditions, or have a second "expedition-like" feature that slowly let characters build items or cook that goes past the current daily limits on ore or whatever. The "cooking" feature that the game lets you just set and forget the material crafting would have been perfect, as an example.

training dummy
Yeah. A basic function that so many games ignore.

using the real character models instead of chibi
No way it's gonna be a chibi variation. Chibi used when devs can't afford to create a "real" 3d models/content. Thankfully, GI is already using full scale 3d models for everything except inventory items. MiHo will spend more resources to create chibi content than just reuse already existing content.

I've only gotten one prototype, and I've been playing since release, spending pretty much 100% of my resin. They're insanely rare, moreso than 5 star characters.

I need just one more to finish the wolf claymore, but after the huge update I guess they decrease the drop. Is almost impossible to drops those.

Not even a single book. I guess you have a chance of drop just one of them.

Not much fun with the Geo cube boss. I don't really have any geo characters (only recently pulled Ningguang) or shield characters leveled up to use on expert, but I have lvl 80 Klee and a couple claymore users, so I figured I'd be OK. I was wrong, had to drop down to hard and settle for a score around 1600. Didn't have much trouble hitting mid 2000s on the other cubes solo, so this was a bit of a let down.

Looks like the cubes are just going to rotate for the next part of the challenge, so I'm not looking forward to seeing the geo cube again in a couple of days.

Depends. Getting every type of prototype is a future proof my friend. Remember, Dragonspine update add both Claymore and Spear with are quite powerful and require prototypes.

I fully agree with you. I need claymore and catalyst prototypes but got 4 bow prototypes till now.

Lvl.1 Noelle breaks the pillars as well as lvl.60/90 because it's just like mining .. the only tricky part is keeping her alive.. In fact the first 30 seconds are the touugh part because you;ll have two pillars firing at you and it's hard to totally hide behind the pillar .. however as soon as one pillar is gone it should be easy - you can hide from the projectiles, and the dead pillar starts producing geo crystals that shield her. (maybe add some DEF/HP artifacts as well)

Once/if you get to the no pillars phase it's really easy with her. (collect crystal -dash - hit mini cube twice, rotate) Obviously you need to use some else to damage the big cube when it drops

I just checked on expert (get 2 shot on hard so I'm at least 20 levels too low), and it's not difficult to keep her alive at all.

3150 today with 3 of us, Childe/Razor/Diluc/Noelle. The trick for us this time was to not do the 100% more HP buff. When we settled on the 50% hp buff, everything went a lot better. Mechanically I feel like the earth boss is the most forgiving. You can make a lot of mistakes and not die as long as you use the provided geo shields intelligently. I'm just shy of 9k points so far with 4 days to go. Should be easy enough to hit 20k and get all rewards. No prototype from wolf boss so far, here's hoping one of the other two drops something.

Geo stasis was the most frustrating for me so far. I almost decided to settle with just 2k points for this. Finally Ganhyu with bolide set saved the day and was able to get 3015. I am dreading for what they have next for Geo one.

3285 points for the 4th challenge.

Challenge 4, is the same electro cube, just with some different handicaps. I actually ended up doing more points in this cube, compared to the 1st one, and turned the same amount of handicaps. Also dont even needed to eat any food for buffs this time.

Anyone that can beat the 1st challenge solo, will find this one easier, because the training for the boss fight was already done in the 1st challenge.

^^^ yeah electro cube 2 seems the same as electro cube 1 (crystals still hydro and physical immune).

Seemed around 10x easier (because experience I suppose), and got a slightly higher score too.

After a week of testing, I'm quite satisfied with Ganyu. Have her equipped with sub-optimal substat artifacts and prototype bow. Charged shot is OP and deletes many non-cryo enemies.

Can shoot Stormterror down from the sky and finish him off within a single window without ever climbing (and falling through) his neck.

I want the Amos bow but weapon banners seem to be a whale trap with 50% split on the pickup so I'll just stick with prototype for now.

I beat it with 2180 points, but the handicaps weren't really that good. To the point I had to increment the hp of the cube.
I did it, but barelly(mostly because doing ER on it is relativelly easy for me). My initial worries stands. If they keep making more forced rules will be a time that in order to archieve a minimal of 2000 the enemy have to be basically invulnerable and your characters gonna be fleas.
My brother just lost interest in doing handicap challenges(he is in for the prymogems), now I'm starting to think its gonna be a good idea as well.

Some nice QOL features:

Highlights:
Q2: I wish that we could hold down a button to add materials when enhancing our weapons.
A2: You can hold down a button over the image of weapons materials to increase/decrease the amount consumed.

Q4: I wish that we could have the ability to convert materials.
A4: Upcoming material conversion will go live in Version 1.3 is already in development! More details soon

Q3: We'd like to use controllers on iOS devices... QAQ
A3: Version 1.3+ devices with OS upgraded to iOS 14 or higher will support the Xbox Wireless Controller (Bluetooth Version), Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and iOS-specialized Bluetooth controllers (partial support)!

Q8: We would like to have more Original Resin.
1) All events in Version 1.3 that do not require challenging Ley Line Outcrops or Domains will not consume Original Resin. The vast majority of large-scale events in future versions will also not consume Original Resin.
2) BPs from 1.3 onward will obtain Fragile Resin ×1 per 10 levels, starting from Level 5,

Damn, what a game. Now I need a good anemo character. I have C2 Sucrose, but...

Anyway, Dragon boss just dropped a God roll on me:
Goblet of Eonothem(wanderer's troupe)

Anemo DMG %
Energy Recharge %
CRIT DMG %
ATK %

WTF 0_o

Not a single flat stat increase or DEF/HP increase. Goddamn, I fucking hate Venti and I really prefer roll for QiQi as a healer... Maybe one day we will see a hero worthy of this artifact xD

The grind to level up new characters when you are already in the lvls 80 or more with your team is quite awful.
I unlocked Keqing yesterday, but damn getting a character from 0 to 80 is super tedious ressource wise.

Between collecting all the lvl up ressources in the world (and the world ressources being limited), the weapon lvl up materials and the artefacts in the dungeons both needing resin... Getting a new character is a lot of work (and wait, because of resin). I wish it was a bit less tedious.

My problem is farming artifacts. I apparently can't get a good one to save my life.

I haven't gotten 1 artifact I'm actually happy with in 2 weeks. Settled on a couple but there's room for improvement.

Was soloing the ice artifact domain and got thrown on top of the shieldless mage in the corner. Had me stuck as falling - can't attack and can't move. They both KO'd 2 of my characters before I fell off the mage shield and could move again...

At least artifacts aren't locked to a character on equip, and give about 85% of the accumulated xp when used as materials to level up other artifacts. I've played MMOs and other gachas that make it way worse than this. Once you get a set with good rolls, you don't need to farm until artifact powercreep when new sets are released off into the future. I'm honestly a little surprised that they already dropped the hint that eventually there will be an artifact set that reduces cooldowns (since it's a stat that shows in your character status screen). I feel like they're going to be really hard to balance unless it's something laughable like 5% cooldown reduction which is nearly worthless, even for ultra long cooldowns like Childe.

There was a lot of complaints about character drop rates when this game released, but what really sucks is the domain and boss drops.

I've done the Dragonspire domain (Lvl 80 & 90 at AR50, WL6) many many times since it became available in anticipation of pulling for Ganyu. To show for it, I have 2 pieces of the hydro artifact set and 3 from the cryo set. I'm starting to wonder if this is bugged for me.

I really don't recommend farming artifacts from dungeon. The 'no pain, no gain' formula in there is almost no existence. RGN there is by far the most brutal of the whole game.

Stick with the world boss to get artifacts. Wanderer and Gladiadors are good. Make the combo first, them keep fight until you got the attributes you're looking for.

The element artifacts are late game.

They could aways increase the regeneration rate of resins. I guess its too difficult.
It'd be cool if they had events where resin regen rate doubled for a week or something. Low effort on their part, and would really drive up player engagement for that week, and make people happy. They must still be working out the kinks on the resin pass though, so I doubt we'll ever see something like that.
