PC has zillions of different configs.
The game should run fine in every one that match the minimum specs.

Third party software, hardware issues, bad power, bad cooling...

And anyone who has been gaming for any length of time should know by now that "meeting minimum specs" means "it literally will run" and anything you get on top of that is gravy.

That doesn’t explain why this game crashes but others not.

Ahh.. another troll?

I'm a bit new around these parts. Really wishing I had a reddit enhancement suite equivalent so I could tag daft people rather than have to plonk them.
Troll? You come to a thread to claim the game doesn’t crash on PC even with all evidences it crashes and call me a troll?

Keep with the actual facts and stop with the “my PC master ring doesn’t crash” lol

Plus say about somebody saying the gaming is crashing in his PC “your PC is shit”.

It is ridiculous like the stance of the company you are trying to defense.

Edit - Report of the PC crashing more frequently after the new patch:

“Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined” is basically meme in PC gamers now.

IMO Metacritic should follow the initiative but I'm 99% they won't.
Traditionally the publishers always show the best version in their trailers and if possible send that review copy too, but I think it's a good idea on Opencritic's side. Many people may see a huge Metacritic score and then find that on his base PS4 the game looks and performs like crap and has a ton of bugs on top of the ones that the PC version has.

There is a reason CDPR only allowed reviewers with RTX 3000 before launch.

Because 30XX GPUs are literally the ONLY GPUs available that can max this game; that can turn on raytracing while maintaining acceptable performance.

ANY other GPUs don't support raytracing, or can turn it on but in a just barely acceptable way (20XX).

Hardly some conspiracy you've uncovered here.

EDIT : BTW - I've been playing with a 1080ti and have had ZERO crashes. And only a small handful of the most minor bugs. Game is a Masterpiece on PC.

Welp, I take it all back. I had my first crash today.

...after shutting the game down. The crash handler popped up as soon as I hit exit. Up to 30 hours today, not a single CTD.

Don’t think it’s crashed on my PC in... my save says 40+ hours but I think some of that was leaving the game running.

Actually been very good on that front.
