Earlier this year, NVIDIA, Mojang and Microsoft released the Minecraft with RTX Windows 10 beta, a special Insider standalone client that introduced stunning path-traced ray tracing to the world’s most popular game. Now, ray tracing and DLSS are available to all, having become part of the official Minecraft Windows 10 client! To celebrate, we are releasing 2 new worlds, bringing the total number of official RTX worlds for Minecraft to 15.

I thought this would finally make Adventure Mode available with RTX but you still need to sideload a Community Resource Pack. Lame.
Adventure Mode should work with this https://mcpedl.com/homa-rtx-pack/
edit: yeah this works https://github.com/CubeIR/HomaRTX/blob/main/Homa RTX by CubeIR The Last Update.mcpack press download, open the file with minecraft, it imports the file automatically, enable the pack ingame. my old world looks awesome with RTX :O

Also the new Update enables OpenXR. On their Website they say this is only for Oculus and Mixed Reality but SteamVR switched to OpenXR a while ago soooo this should work with Vive and Index now. Yeah I know about Vivecraft, but Bedrock Minecraft has much much better Performance.

Between the Super Duper graphics pack, and Mojang’s own Series X RTX mode, the former cancelled after years of no updates and passive aggressive responses to questions, and the latter disappearing for almost a year with no news, missing launch, and seemingly on the same path...

Nvidia’s team helping seems to be the only actual way to make some visual progress in this game.

Happy for PC players, but kind of bummed that this is nowhere in sight for console players.

And in good old typical fashion, Minecraft with snazzy graphics was the one main thing I wanted with the Series X

...Oh, and Stalker 2.

We ain't outta here in ten minutes, we won't need no rocket to fly through space
Still not on Game Pass though. I'm not paying £25 for Minecraft.

Whats a "RTX World" does that mean regular Minecraft Worlds do NOT have the RTX effect? So someone playing on PC in an RTX world couldnt play with me on ps4?

There are 15 Special Worlds with pre-build buildings and stuff with RTX effects. You start the game with one of these worlds and BAMM, RTX effects all over the place. For some reason they didn't activate RTX for the Adventure mode. There's an easy "fix" for this:

With this you should be able to play Adventure mode with other people, even on different platforms :messenger_ok:

Microsoft really should have had Raytraced Minecraft in Launch Window for Series X. Cmon Msft, get with it. Your biggest IP, with needs for Next gen graphics rendering. Seems obvious. Didn't they even tease it?
yes they did. But the studio behind Minecraft is not the fastest one. Remember the "superduper"-update?
The game has still to be compatible (somewhat), run on multiple plattforms etc etc. Seems to be to much for that team.

MineCraft Dungeons should also be an easy practice to include RT (minimal view-distance, topdown-view). Maybe they should start with that game.

But when I see the Results for the RX6800/6900 card, I can imagine, that it does not run very well on AMD hardware, yet.
