The sponsored (and clearly tagged as such) video? Of course it would be biased to promote Godfall.
People take no issues with ads when they are clearly presented as ads upfront. The problem with ads is when product placement happens, even in unrelated videos, and with no warning of sponsored content at that.

Only issue is that it was a "technical breakdown" which makes you think DF are giving an honest review of the tech in the game, when in reality they were reading off a promotional sheet given to them by the developer. That game is last gen, and while they were up front and said it was a paid advert, it was dressed up like one of their honest tech breakdowns.

If they openly said it was a paid advert, it wasn't dressed up as anything else.
The moment they say something was paid for, people have to take the next logical step and be aware that any "analysis" from that point forward is compromised.
Just like being offered a trip to the headquarters of a hardware manufacturer compromises any judgement of said hardware, but people seem to convince themselves of the opposite.

Given the ongoing hardware/software issues, I simply cannot imagine PS5 being released back in November 2019... They can't even make enough units a whole year later, so how many unite they were suppose to realease in 2019, 3? 5?

Server side updates have nothing to do with what happens to the console's hardware, server side updates affect the server side of things, which is pretty self explanatory. On the playstation these are things such as the playstation network and its underlying management systems and Databases done by things such as node js, Sql, php. Things present in the console and it's connected hardware is done by microcode and firmware/software updates, these manipulate and change the behaviour of the console and its hardware/software. The server side is irrelevant to how the console functions, it's only relevant to how the services on the console function. That guy is full of shit, i don't think he knows what he's talking about.

Stores seriously need to open and start selling PS5’s in person. If we can still shop in grocery stores, big box stores, in this so called pandemic, there’s no reason PS5 can’t be on store shelves.

Even if it was supposed to launch in 2019, the delay to 2020 would have been decided years in advance... Somewhere around 2016/2017. If anything, this launch shows how much Sony had planned given the line up of games compared to Microsoft.

DIRT 5 had a PR deal with XBOX and that was the version which had 'bugs', COD had a PR deal with PS5 and that was the version with 'bugs', shouldn't it be the other way round? when a company invests in your game, are you not supposed to make it better?

This practice absolutely pisses me off.
Bloody annoying! My friends and I managed to get our systems, but honestly it was a massive pain. I had pre-orders down at 5 places at once not knowing which would have stock (as some of the stores were taking pre-orders even when they didnt know if they would get enough systems). At one point my bank account was over £2000 "reserved" for PS5 pre-orders. Only 2 of the stores were very upfront with information and came through in the end (Curry's and shopto - 1 system for me and 1 for my friend - and no I didnt charge him extra).
The idea that some "organisation" got 3500 orders to sell for profit at potentially twice the price is infuriating.
Feel sorry for the folks that have to go through ebay to get the system as a Christmas present.

Based on the reports, I think 3d audio really required a premium headset to shine. I think the key is sound separation. Unfortunately, I don’t have an open back. So I wonder if sound stage also has an impact.Nah, I'm fine. To give you perspective, headphones through tv when on PC I use 35% and 40% is just too much. Using Astro A40+mixamp on PS4 usually around 60%. Having Pulse 3D at full or 90% is not noisy at all, it's actually perfect volume and always put sound range to the widest possible when got the choice.
PS4 controller used to have very low volume at 2.0 channel, and most if not all USB headsets I tried are as well low. I bought the mixamp to have it good enough. Hope this gives you perspective.
And reporting back, and thankinguser1337 for his note. I've turn off 3D Audio and tried it on Genshin and it's so clean, sharp, with normal 7.1 surround. Tried 3D on Spier-Man MM and it's working perfectly. My initial experience with the headset was really underwhelming on Astro's Playroom. Sounds muffled as if you are underwater and sound felt cheap, that says that Astro's Playroom doesn't support 3D Audio properly. After testing on Genshin without 3D Audio the locality is way better and clarity is just like using another headset.
Now I can recommend Pulse 3D, not saying it's better than premium ones but it's 100% worth its decent price of $100 and won't change it until next PS headset with 50mm drivers (Pulse is 40mm vs 50mm PS Platinum). If you already have a good wireless headset for PS5 then I think you don't need to upgrade. I tried my Astro A40 through DualSense and sound is loud and clear, but only stereo 2.0 so it'll probably be good with Tempest 3D Audio support. I'll try it today with Spider-Man MM and report back.
