I actually liked the realistic looking graphics. I only played the beta, but I thought the game looked great.

Number two will NEVER happen and I actually found the Ms. Marvel in the recent Avengers game cute.

I highly doubt number three will happen also. These companies love their microtransactions and the crappy GAAS structure no matter if it affects the game’s quality or not.

The game in so many areas, is unfortunately creatively void of ideas. I''m not sure if Marvel preventing them from using certain characters or dictated story lines. But there is so much rich history and characters you could fight.

Step one: get rid of the realistic graphics that make the Avengers look like actors in a parody porn movie, just look at this shit

i believe the problem is not the style of the graphics, but the character design is super ugly. like generic pedestrian npc in gta v. black widow looks like retired widow that pretend to be young, ironman looks like typical pakistani smartphone shop dealer etc.
no need to make exactly looks like in film, but atleast make it distinguish. something that would end up as icon, mascot for the game, something that people would not hesitate to use as profile picture for example. try compare it to insomniac's spiderman for example.

Honestly should have just ported MUA 3 from the switch and made it with the Crystal Dynamics graphics

Huge roster, classic marvel locations, combo attacks. It basically has everything that the this game is missing.

Just add in the combat in this game with everything in MAU 3 and you probably get a great Marvel game.

I still enjoy playing online and grinding up my characters, though its a chore. But the SP really stunk. Too much wasted walking time and too little time playing with all the Avengers.

Step one: I never got the porn parody vibes. I wish they would look and sound like the movies, but i know how cost prohibitive that is. Not a bad idea going cell shaded. But people (especially going by reading GAF threads) are obsessed with the most realistic bestest of all time graphics possible. If it was cell shaded, i guarantee people here would bitch "it looks like a kids game!" It's fine as is

Step two: why remove a character people might enjoy? I was familiar with her before this game thanks to comics and the like. I think she's a fun character and good conduit for people into this version of the world some may be not too familiar with. And we're getting Miss Marvel anyway. She was on a leaked character list that has so far been completely accurate. Let's just hope the game survives long enough for it to happen.

Step three: This is what they've been trying to do; adding a new avenger every few months as well as other content. They're just failing miserably at it at the moment

Kate and Hawkeye were planned as first DLC because it was meant to coincide and promote the release of his Disney+ series. It was a smart pick, at the time. But it was delayed, and it makes no sense to just abandon it when it's probably furthest along on development. They WERE going to announce Black Panther but then Chadwick Boseman died so they decided to delay instead of seeming like they were capitalizing on his death. I'm sure the plans were to get Bucky and Falcon when that series released, as well as Wanda and Vision, but they took on a task they weren't ready for.

I assume these same people think we're getting Black Panther strictly to fill a quota or black lives matter. Tinfoil hat people, i swear

The X men game was a long time ago (xbox 360, ps3) before the major super hero movie craze, and made by a small shit company (Silicon Knights). That doesn't mean it would not work in 2020+ with a big competent company.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a superhero game where you make your own superpowered being. They just seem to all be MMOs I grew up on nerdy stuff like most here, and I'd love a GREAT X-Men game above all other hero properties where i can make a unique character.
