What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

Still no shipping info on my XSX from Amazon and pretty much sure it's getting delayed for a bit at this point. I do have a date for PS5 so 1 out of 2 is better than nothing I suppose.
 
I've asked before but I'll ask again...

Has Gamestop updated anyone's online PS5 pre-order?

I ended up having to get a bundle and two weeks ago they reauthorized my credit card for two small charges (I'm guessing the extra controller and charging station) but no reauthorization or charge for the PS5 itself.

I am picking mine up at the store which it says will be available that day. Like any order for pick up at Best Buy I get text, email and website updates informing me of the status until it says ready for pickup.

No activity yet on my PS5 preorder from Target. Still says "Estimated Fri, Nov 13 – Wed, Nov 18" UGHHHH I hope it comes on release day.
Amazon XSX preorder confirmed for Tuesday Nov 10th at least.

My Prime experience with Amazon is usually a day or two prior to delivery for them to ship depending on which hub it comes from and how close that is to delivery area. Further out and it will ship earlier (also dependent on their shipping method). Closer and I usually have stuff ship the night before and still get to me on time

This is the same for me, If you live near a amazon warehouse they can ship it a day or two before and you will still get your order on time.

Looked back through the pre order thread for the X1X in 2017 and Best Buy gave shipping notice 1 day before release date and they arrived on release day. Hoping this will still be the case in 2020.
 
My retailer just sent out emails pretty much telling people to not get their hopes up too high for an on release possibility to pick up the console. They can't say anything about a surefire date on which we can get it.

Why the fuck did i even pre order.
 
It's sad when somebody who doesn't understand how the supply runs out so fast ignorantly thinks they'll be able to just pick one up for Xmas. My poor wife thought she could try really hard and go to every store without telling me thinking it was a possibility. Had to sit her down let her know there would be no Sony Playstation 5 for xmas this year.

The funny thing is I had anticipated not getting one for awhile and had no idea she was doing all this work to surprise me, then she asked about the Xbox and I indicated we already had a suitable working trash can.

I sincerely hope for all you folks who get your orders that the hardware works and there aren't any first gen hardware issues which have been pretty rampant with both Sony and Microsoft and it's burned me before. Getting your stuff on time and then being stuck back in line waiting for another supply sucks beyond anything else.
 
hehaw happening yet on Amazon for my Series X/PS5.

still saying they will arrive on release date (10th + 19th). Series X was ordered 11 minutes after it went live. PS5 was ordered 8 minutes after going live.

not worried still. maybe if i get to sunday/monday with nothing happening still...

Got confirmation now that games (Demon's Souls) and accessories (charging station, DualSense) is coming Nov. 12.

However, my PS5 is scheduled preliminary in December, so it's uncertain I'm getting it even this year. And no word on the Pulse 3D Headset. Fucking hell.

This is the last time I'm going through this pre-order shit. No wonder I haven't bought a console on launch day since Dreamcast. It's just too much hassle.

Same as others "Not yet Shipped. We will e-mail you when we have an estimated delivery date".

Reading what others have posted, it seems like if its shipping from somewhere close that it just means it'll ship closer to release so the information isn't updated yet.
 
Just got an email from FedEx with my tracking info. I was hoping they'd goof and deliver it early, but it says "Per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date." Oh well, it's almost time, folks!
 
Not sure. Accessories pre ordered from smyths and console from gamestop. Not sure the status of either. Launch here is the 18th.
 
My Xbox is supposed to arrive today if I look at the tracking from Post Canada from the Source but I'm not getting my hope up!

Now I got a confirmation on my Pulse Headset. Nov. 12.

So now I got everything I need, except the goddamn console. Im still hoping for a miracle from God, that he will intervene and bring the PS5 on launch day, or in close proximity.
 
My Amazon Series X order got updated and says it'll be delivered Tuesday! Really happy about that.

My PS5 is still pre-ordered from Target, says my estimated delivery date will be Nov 18th.

Meanwhile, I went to WalMart today and they had their PS5 accessories out. Picked up another Dualsense controller, the charging station, and wireless headset.

We noticed a potential delay with the Xbox Series X from Order number: . We're keeping a close eye on the package's movement. However, at this point it looks like it may be a day or two later than expected.

Went to GameStop last night to ask about that Sony policy that came yesterday morning and was informed that those who were part of wave one and two (I was wave one) will be getting ours, the consoles came in.

Just had some hope restored learning that if you live near an Amazon distribution center, it could be there. I guess I've never really payed attention to the shipping status of most of my amazon purchases but it makese sense that if its something shipped from nearby, shipping would only take a day and we might not even see the shipment/delivery info update on our order until the day before.

Yes same here. But the controller that I was supposed to get November 6th came on November 4th!! Crossing fingers. If it's ships tomorrow it could be a great week! Took 4 days for my controller
 
Microsot Store Canada now shows 'Pre-Ordered' for me and that my credit card has been charged. Looked at my billing and yes they took the amount out, and then put it back in!! Oh noes!
