wow...that is my greatest fear right now lolI had both on pre order but my Motorola phone decided to ghost tap cancel the series X order while I was checking the status.
I tried everything to get it reinstated, it's not going to happen.
Preparing.. hmmmm.. hmmm indeed. My next gen orders state this:
Walmart ps5 preorder- preparing order (mine)
Walmart xboxsx preorder- preparing order(sisters)
Best buy xbox sx preorder has pickup date (mine)for launch day
Amazon ps5 preorder - order received (coworkers)
Amazon xbox sx preorder- order received (broinlaw)
Amazon- Demon souls - order received
Amazon ps5 controller - preordered
Cancelled the PS5. Building home gym instead. Deadlifting > Demon's Souls
Yep same here. One of each at Amazon, one of each at Target. No status updates yet on either...I got it on the first day from Amazon, still stuck on "Order Received" we will email you when we have an estimated delivery date
go in to the order, "change shipping speed" just open that, save and back out. I did that and now i have a date
this only works for the xbox and some games/accessories, doesnt work on ps5 yet
SamePS5 on Amazon = Not Yet Shipped and no other changes since placed.
PS5 on Target = Pre-Ordered Nov. 13th-Nov. 19th and no change since placed.
Target has taken a pending payment on my card.
Where did you pre-order from and what country? My Xbox series x just shipped
The source, CanadaWhere did you pre-order from and what country?
Is anyone here familiar with Walmart Canada's procedures for console launches? Surprised it's showing Nov 19th ETA for in-store pickup instead of Day 1. Is this just an erroneous placeholder?
My Xbox series x just shipped
That would be pretty terrifying. Though as far as I know, the general lack of midnight releases (covid aside) has been only due to the rise in digital pre-orders. So many games are falling under the threshold of needing a midnight release (not to mention aside from Nintendo exclusives, their midnight releases are more like closing releases as you can run in and grab your game around 9pm or so)There was a robbery at the GameStop I worked for about a year. It happened before I started, but they zip tied the store employee and put them in the systems closet. The burglars then stole all their 360 and PS3 inventory. This was around the time the PS3 had launched. The security for that place wasn't the best and they were located right off a highway. I can see why GameStop no longer does midnight launches.
