What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

Xbox series X pre-order cancelled.
 
I just went into my local game because there taking prepayments today.
Should be set to pick up on the 19th between 8am -2pm only
 
Pulse 3d headset, charging station, and 12 months of PS+ all on deck now. I have miles morales, cyberpunk and the PS5 pre-ordered. I am ready for next gen!

I don't see why people are stressing about Amazon, we still have some days before launch so why would they ship it now plus the estimate delivery date means nothing because I have still gotten my orders late by Amazon in the past even with a estimate delivery date.
 
My next gen orders state this:
Walmart ps5 preorder- preparing order (mine)
Walmart xboxsx preorder- preparing order(sisters)
Best buy xbox sx preorder has pickup date (mine)for launch day
Amazon ps5 preorder - order received (coworkers)
Amazon xbox sx preorder- order received (broinlaw)

Amazon- Demon souls - order received
Amazon ps5 controller - preordered

I had both on pre order but my Motorola phone decided to ghost tap cancel the series X order while I was checking the status.

I tried everything to get it reinstated, it's not going to happen.

wow...that is my greatest fear right now lol
I keep opening apps and looking and i am terrified I am going to hit cancel. Was there no "are you sure?" ?? thats fucked.
 
There may have been but it just goes crazy every now and then all hell breaks loose. There's definitely no way back though!

Apparently (ie, take with a pinch of salt) Media Markt in Germany have emailed customers that the console MAY be moved forward to 12th November.

Any german readers confirm?

My status is preparing for getting a cold on 19th when i try to get a PS5 in a media market here in germany couse i was to slow to get a preorder

It might be just a plastic box that makes things go bing, but it's the one highlight of this relentlessly shitty year for me, so I'm stoked it won't be delayed 😀😀

I got it on the first day from Amazon, still stuck on "Order Received" we will email you when we have an estimated delivery date

You were correct it now says November 10th by 8pm.
 
I fulfilled what I guess was some kind of childhood fantasy, getting every console on launch day 1 with Wii U, Playstation 4, Xbox One...

But now that I did that and it's off my list, it isn't attractive for me anymore, especially that they are going to produce mid-refreshs, which are going to be faster and in case of Playstation 5, also prettier - if at all I will buy it.

So I limited myself to an Xbox Series X.. More wasn't possible, financially, nor attractive and I believe it's not going to have been the wrong choice! :messenger_winking:
 
Is anyone here familiar with Walmart Canada's procedures for console launches? Surprised it's showing Nov 19th ETA for in-store pickup instead of Day 1. Is this just an erroneous placeholder?
 
I called Target to find out if I can change my order to pick up from Store. They can't make that change. Interestingly, the phone system says the item will ship on November 13th. Hopefully that's not true. Not sure why the system would wait an additional day post street date to ship.

@AskTarget on Twitter seems to say that there will be online order for in-store pick up on Nov. 12 based on quantities available per location. If my order hasn't shipped by Nov. 12... I'll try to get one that day that way.
 
Just had a phone call from my Local Game, I need to go pay it off by Wednesday evening and then can pick up on the day, no Midnight release either

This is the first time I've bought anything from them online. The online process was very smooth. I ordered what I think was a second round of preorders, it was a bundle with an extra controller, and my ship date said Nov 17.

That would be pretty terrifying. Though as far as I know, the general lack of midnight releases (covid aside) has been only due to the rise in digital pre-orders. So many games are falling under the threshold of needing a midnight release (not to mention aside from Nintendo exclusives, their midnight releases are more like closing releases as you can run in and grab your game around 9pm or so)
 
I've got a PS5 pre-ordered at Amazon and Bestbuy. I need to cancel one of them (probably Amazon). I've got a Series X pre-ordered at Bestbuy and I'm leaning towards cancelling that as well.
 
So does anyone that pre-ordered from Amazon US have anything other than "Not yet shipped. We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date." for their order? Super weird that UK peeps that ordered after we did have actual shipping dates now. WTF
 
I no longer have the option to cancel my MS order for xsx.

probably about time I cancel my Amazon order for the xsx.

between Best Buy pickup and MS I should be fine, I'm hoping.
 
Preordered both XSX and PS5 on Amazon.

No shipping date for either. Not feeling too confident I'll get either close to release.
