Playstation: Gran Turismo 7 site is up

The DualSense and 3D Audio features sound so sick. I have been waiting a long time for Gran Turismo to return to form and this is it, guys. If this comes out Q1 2021 I’m going to cream my pants.

That is too soon...Either PD efficiency has improved dramatically, or this upcoming GT will be but a skeleton of a work-in-progress games, the features of which will be added periodically to sustain engagement. The third scenario is one where the team does not use the PS5 hardware the way we would expect it too. Unlikely, but not impossible.

please please please please please return to having used crappy cars and let me build my way up. I DONT WANT a super car sim, I want an ALL car sim.
Is this something they've removed from recent GTs?

Not sure what the last one I played was.. early PS4 release I think.

The inclusion of a Used Cars marketplace pretty much confirms this.

The only interesting game for PS5. Sadly, PS5 is too much of a monstrosity to bother until at least a slim version or something.
Though do they still pull that shit with cars from the old versions of the game?

Still, GT4 was the best.

Yeah and it killed my interest in the series. It went from an "everyone" car game to those who just love super cars. I like progression and starting from nothing.

Shame that you skipped GT sport game was fun.
And i didn’t raced online even once.

also the reason i ordered my ps5
I hope my ps3 wheel works with it :(

GT7
Same, I'll be super butthurt if my T500RS isn't compatible. I imagine it will though.

I’m really looking forward to GT7, but it’s a huge loss for me that PSVR won’t be supported, and therefore I can’t race against a full grid in VR rather than a solitary single car in GT:S

Same, its releasing way sooner then i thought tho, might have to pick up a ps5 early next year already, depends on what features the game has and what not and amount of cars

If they’re not siming all of the cars components and the rubber like in this video then this isn’t the ultimate driving sim and I simply can’t wait to see what it’s like driving a car when they do this.

It's not "the ultimate driving sim", it's "The REAL Driving Simulator". Get it right, dude.

And don't expect that level of deformation for at least another generation, at least. Even then, we'd probably only get a dozen cars on screen, at most.

(And yes, I'm talking out of my semi-informed ass, thank you)

Sorry don’t have time to read as off to bed, but were they not talking about the physics model running at 240Hz and not FPS?
I ask as I’m sure this has been talked about with past simulators, where the real feel of a racing car is at much higher physics response at 240hz but this is separate from the FPS itself.
I could be talking out my ass mind.

My plan is to wait for this game and then get the PS5 + a wheel. Can't wait!! GT Sport is so much fun only but it's at the end of its life now.
