4K/60FPS, HDR, ray-tracing
-Super fast loading between races, lobbies, friend invites, car selection
-Feel differences in brakes, throttle response, tire contact with road from adaptive triggers+haptic feedback
-Spatial 3D audio

I'm not impressed with this game, DriveClub was much more impressive in it's context.

Driveclub looked crazy good because it ran at 30fps.

Also, GT games, for the most part, end up being visual showcases for the consoles they release on, even if they look pretty bad when they’re first shown off. GT Sport looked like a slightly better GT6 when first announced, but at release was easily one of the better looking games on PS4. I expect the visuals to improve a little more at the very least

I haven’t played GT since PS2 days. Are the cars able to be damaged now?
Yes, although it's usually only cosmetic (might be different for some races/modes). I might be wrong on this :messenger_mr_smith_who_are_you_going_to_call:

Also, I hope there's a higher lower res/higher frames option available.

Well idk, I would argue GT6 actually looked unimpressive while DriveClub did, even though it run at 30fps, the jump in graphic fidelity was impressive. Here it's a galore of supposedly new tech but overall it doesn't look appealing to me.

Yes.

The bigger issue is the car roster, and whether or not the game will feature the latest and greatest vehicles. The studio is (apparently) doing significantly more outsourcing of car models, so fingers crossed that the car list in the game won't be lackluster.

Can't wait to try the rumble triggers. If it's one thing MS nailed with XB1 it was that, especially with Forza. GT felt so flat compared on the pad, when you lock the brakes and you could feel the vibration. Great stuff.

Damn, just want a release date for this. Trial Mountain online full lobby, honestly cannot wait for that!

I thought we were getting 240fps mode?

Kazunori Yamauchi said :

“Rather than a spatial resolution that you’re talking about, I’m more interested in the advancements we can make in terms of the time resolution. In terms of frames per second, rather than staying at 60 fps, I’m more interested in raising it to 120 fps or even 240 fps. I think that’s what’s going to be changing the experience from here on forward.”

Also I use a steering wheel and pedals so the controller additions won't mean anything for me.

Have Sony said if the 3d sound works over more than 2 speakers yet?

Drive Club is a joke of a racing game though.
This is probably just an updated version of GT Sport with a few more tracks & cars.

I'd really like them to overhaul Sport mode and give people more than 3 choices for the daily (weekly) races.

Do we still not have a release date?
GT7 is full fat you've obviously never played a GT main line game.
And lol at the weekly GTS races.

makes sense, the ps4 owners (who are not buying a ps5 yet) will be very happy about this!

OMG they're gonna cross gen gran turismo?

Yeah, nobody was able to replicate its effects of light.

It definitely had its own "look and mood" that set it apart from Forza and GT.

It's a shame they screwed up the launch and the customers weren't there.

Some people here are either too dumb or too smart , while I preferred the first one cuz you see them whining about how nextgen is a failure because it’s not 4K/60fps BUT when that happens , they always find dumb ways to continue the whining by saying “ Oh it’s not native 4K and we prefer more details over 60fps this game is trash “

Wow. That was fast.

Now its <meta name="title" content="Gran Turismo 7 | PS5-spel | PlayStation"/>. The pages was updated 20 minutes ago.

The Danish and Norwegian site also had PS4 and PS5 names in the title.

- 4K/60FPS, HDR, ray-tracing
- such basic damage modelling that it may as well not exist
- basic as fuck, scalextric AI
- quickly disappearing tyre marks
- bland, empty environments
- UI that would be embarrassing even as placeholder

Well its a GT game............what u expect?

When are people going to understand that higher resolution = more visual detail. They aren't separate things.
Not at all.... To see details you first have to have details, and details eat performance. The higher the resolution the heavier the toll.....
4k60 + RT consumes pretty much all the extra performance the ps5 has over the PS4 for rather insignificant visual upgrades instead of enriching the scenes as could have been done in 1440p f.e.
10tf are nothing with such render targets....

Good! Now with that out of the way, when is the release date, Sony?

What?

What do you get if you take GT Sport and add back in the traditional rags to riches career mode plus some poxy car wash and oil change cinematics?
