Not sure about the level/stats crap. Does every game have to have that now? Like Avengers and this?

I hope it's fun, they need to find a way to make the combat feel fresh again. To me it needs to feel more freeform, technical, and less reliant on the auto counter/rthythm deal.

Also the characters need to feel very different not like reskins with all the same hook traversal stuff and just different combat animations. They kinda chose a boring bunch of heroes. Robin and Batgirl look nice enough.

Disappointed with what I saw. Combat doesn't look fluid and the new enemy leveling system is Bullshit imo. Doesnt have a place in these games.

Gated progression by making enemies sponges is terrible.

Damage counters, and no more combo counter. It looks like this isn't a rhythm fighter? Which, in co-op, might be for the best. Especially as a new combat system could benefit more from a progression system.
Were there any bits where they performed a counter? I didn't catch any.

I'm a bit worried this is a live service. The footage kept reminding me of Anthem, and as M Moridianae pointed out, like The Division even moreso.

They probably burned the Batman out. Like with the Death of Superman. People stop buying comics, kill off the hero, and make bank. Introduce people to take his place and then wait for the comeback to happen.

I liked it and definitely want it more than the Avengers. At least they’re utilizing the supportive cast. The DLC always felt like they just danced around what Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and etc could do. It felt like a simulator inside Gotham.

How can a Game releasing in 2021 looking like this being in PreAlpha? Did the terms PreAlpha, Alpha, Beta, Gold change? I strongly believe no AAA studio can go from PreAlpha to Gold in a year.

Looks current gen. No better than Arkham Knight (definitely using UE4). I do like being able to control Robin though. And maybe they'll incorporate coop play. That would be a blast.
