Mobile gaming is starting to get recognition and kind of praise because of the sheer amount of players it has and the growth of the user base it has experienced but it's actually the lowest of lows for gaming. People playing on mobile devices are either stupid kids or dumb adults or people that literally doesn't have any other option and all of them are treated like garbage by the companies that create content for them.
It's not only the extremely subpar games they are offereed in comparison to any other platform, it's the unbearably agressive monetization, the filthy mind tricks, the gameplay hurdles and the painfully obvious scams. Just look at this video....
Thousands and thousands of people falling for things like this. Every time it gets mentioned how many people play games on mobile devices and how fast is that market growing I throw up inside my mouth and I feel embarassed on behalf of them. It makes me cringe so hard.
