Uncharted 4 Multiplayer was a PvP third-person shooter. GOT: Legends would be a PvE coop melee action game.
Unlike U4, it doesn't need to run at 60fps.

Yeh I'm assuming this would be more like souls/bloodborne co-op than anything.
60fps would be really nice but not absolutely necessary.
If they could do some kind of invasion system next that would be the cherry on top.

If Sony "making more multiplayer games" is similar or better quality singleplayer experiences than we have now but with stuff like this then I'm all for it, will be awesome to play coop in all these SP games I love, share the experience, maybe its wishful thinking to see it widespread though.
This is basically what I try to do with friends/flatmates right now, but its difficult because they are into other genres for the most part.

Best way of doing it, the amount of backlash some single player games got for including MP (People moaning itll ruin the game)

That's why gamers trust Sony. They know that once they buy one of their consoles Sony is going to support it until the very end. Even during the PS3 when they could have easily unplugged the PS3 from life support and moved on to PS4 they decided to support it and really managed to reverse the situation. To my knowledge neither Microsoft or Nintendo has ever done that.
The only exception was the Vita. I wish they had put a bit more faith on that great system.

I'm not really into multiplayer, so not that hyped (will give it a go though), but the way this was presented was just like an ultimate mic drop from SP/Sony. No "multiplayer coming at a later date" beforehand, no mention of it anywhere as a matter of fact. And then out of the blue, boom. So, instead of over-promise and under-deliver, under-promise and over-deliver. You taking notes, Phil?

This was unexpected but most definitely greatly welcomed. I also expect a NG+ update in the next week or so, so that they will keep SP fresh as well with some surprise additions. Then it will be one of the most serious GOTY contender.

In some games it really feel forced and uncessary, like in AC Brotherhood or Blackflag, Tomb Raider 2013 (both awesome single player wise)
While in other games it add cool stuffs to the experience, like TLOU, Uncharted games or in RDR2/RDO (Even if This is one is hella buggy tho)
I'm actually excited for TLOU2 multiplayers, gameplay of this game is awesome and feel has a lot of cool potential for multiplayer

I believe Sony can ubisoft (coop in everything) their games while also avoiding taking an ubishit on them at the same time, ie being buggy as hell, forcing RPG/loot mechanics to make it last forever, tons of mtx and just not polished in general in many areas.
I have loved many ubisoft games, but not the last FC or last couple of ACs due to the issues above.
