Interesting things there. Clearly I think it's apparent that most of the mod policy and decisions around banning are done by a small handful of people. A lot of the mods seem to just get fed up of it and decide it's just not worth it. That's why you have a small quorum of the same people, with ever increasing extremity - those who like the power trip and sanctimony while the others cycle in and out of fashion. There is no way the site is not profitable, you can buy a license for xf now on their site with pricing. Also if cash was such a concern I doubt they could have been given instruction to split the design into a multi tier architecture - I can't find the thread via google bit they had clustered database servers, resilient front ends and then there is the bandwidth cost. If you're struggling for cash, the first thing you do is cut back over engineered SLA's and revenue costs. You don't keep a tier 1 architecture design for a site about games, that might need a hotfix/patch once every 6 months, or a boost in FE capacity for major events (all cancelled due to COVID). Bandwidth might be costly, but again a cost that can be absorbed/managed by making the forum private to lessen the public hits. The ad revenue must be a sizeable enough chunk to make it worth it.

Also, those people need to take a fucking long look at themselves, not just the mods and admins (racists as they are). Look at this, this is what happens when you drive everyone away that had reasonable disagreements. You then have to look for the 'unclean' and make up reasons to get rid of dissenting opinions - where have they been these last few years watching this unfold?

My car just broke down on the highway and after calling AAA a tow truck came and delivered it to an auto repair shop. But as I sat there I thought about how I never notice cops/troopers/state police assisting anyone on the side of the road. Like ever.

Community policing and outreach doesn't seem like it's prevelant at all; even before the protests the only time I'd interact with police in a "social" setting was when they'd come to my work asking for handouts for a golf tournament. I never see troopers on the highway either.

Yeah, things like this are the best proof of the hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy of the "woke left". Another good example is Liu Yifei, the Chinese actress playing the lead role in DIsney's live action Mulan film. She expressed support for the Chinese police of Hong Kong on social media, yet I've barely heard anything from the "woke left" about this. Imagine the shitstorm they'd be raising if the star of one of Disney's big upcoming films said they'd be voting for Trump, or they opposed BLM.

Also, to make this even worse, Yifei has American citizenship, so she should know what Hong Kong is fighting for, yet she wants to deny them the same freedom she's enjoyed. What a tool.

The word Airbender is problematic. Bender is a slur for homosexual and this word could be viewed as homophobic. In addition ERA has created tags. Tag rhymes with fag, another gay slur. The above combined means ERA is not a safe space for gay men to have open relationships trying to try and save their obviously failing marriage.
