I've been doing the same with a pair of controllers I've had for at least 3 years now (not certain of EXACT date..could be even longer). I'm getting about 6.5 hours with them right now till I get a battery warning. At least once I've played for over another half hour after getting the warning. So that's not bad at all. If the DS5 actually does work for hours longer....GREAT! I guess that means it should just take even longer before they have to be replaced due to battery. Because honestly, if they are lasting at least 3-4 hours....they're still "good" as far as I'm concerned. Not super often that I get to play longer than 4 hours in a row.

What makes cute scenes really shine are the controlled lightning, even more than the assets.. I think UE5 with its real-time global illumination solution will do wonders for real-time gameplay..

That scene was the least impressive in the trailer IMO, the water splashes looked like they were moving at a lower framerate than everything else so it stands out but I'm sure that they'll fix that kind of thing in time.

The thing is that I don't know if Jez has heard anything at all. When he and the other guy discussed the PS5 stuff on their Xbox podcast they were using phrases such as "I've heard" or making references to "sources" of some kind when in reality all of the things they talked about were a mix of Imran's claims and the stuff Moore's Law Is Dead discussed in his video - which, thanks to the details shared by Sony on the upcoming State of Play, we can now confirm to be fake.

If I remember correctly, PS4 and PSVR mostly with some further look at a few 3rd party ps5 games already shown. If so, then all those are out. RE8 was shown at the MS conf and all others are 1st party (or second party w bluepoint)

Hmm I'd say R&C, DS and SMM are out of the question, they said "A few quick check-ins on third-party and indie games from June’s PS5 showcase" so to me that sounds like they won't show any of the big first party games.

So is the PSVR dead ? Sony has said that PSVR will work on PS5 but it requires a DS4. It has also stated that the DS4 will not work with PS5 games. So This means that either there will be no PS5 only games which can ever use the duel sense . so that headset is locked to the DS4 forever or sony is going to force a purchase of some future accessory. ( clip on light bar ? )

Is that movement exposing the small flaws in the way its rendered, if as suggested its some sort of new checkerboard or whatever. Infact watching all those rock formations closely, the foliage, as the camera pans seems to alter ever so slightly. Anyone see? Maybe this is very subtle or maybe its nothing.

Also there seems to be something very slight happening round here which looks similar...

Now its hard to spot and certainly not as obvious as the first which is easy to see.

I know our DF friend Alex said pop in can be casued by many things, this is early code and any issues probably ironed out in a year.

Now what implications does this have, for those who said its cgi if so why would this be in it? Maybe someone can explain. Does this tell us anything?

Does this support the argument that it will look like this in game seeing as small flaws are shown? Does this support it being gameplay with the camera moved and no hud?

I noticed that as well. There’s also slight pop in on the Rocks/pebbles on the beach.
