I feel that both Sony and Xbox didn’t show everything they have in their big presentations yet. Some things felt missing or just looked unfinished. Both shows felt very underwhelming.
We need some clarity about release dates, pricing and which games will be available at release. It is hard to decide for any console without more information at the moment. Some heavy hitter games could still be 1-2 years away. They need to convince us to invest in their console.

What do I expect him to say? How about the truth? It blows my mind that people like you still trust this guy after he's been basically hyping up nothing and making empty promises for about a decade.
I'm fully aware his talks are nothing more than empty PR by now, and so is most on this forum, and that's exactly why he should never ever be taken seriously until he actually delivers. The more phil keeps making a fool of himself the more comments like these you can expect.

By the same token, 9/10 casuals aren’t going to pay ~£500 to be early adopters of XSX when there is a seemingly superior console on the market at a similar price point.

Yes the majority are complaining about the visuals looking dated but for the actual gameplay and game itself everyones hyped since it looks more halo than the recent installments (including reach). More core halo than ever.

Why? 1 month isn't going to make any difference in the development cycle, unless they intend on wasting a month of game development to make the Halo demo not look subpar. Another show of CG trailers of games more than a year out, or more cross-gen or PC stuff isn't going to rock anyone's world. I guess they need to keep the marketing push going, but if they're unable to show results of the passage of time, then it's not going to move the needle. I'm surprised we haven't gotten news stories of a development crisis with the XSX, because something just doesn't add up.

They literally announced that another event would be happening at the end of this months event. No way they ship the consoles without showing halo multiplayer in a conference setting.

And that’s ok. Nothing wrong with the Xbox head being interviewed by fans of the platform who are hyped. If you want a critical interview I’m sure he has or will interview with other outlets. Whether or not they have the balls to pull him up on stuff is another thing altogether though.

Halo games used to impress people with it's graphics (halo 4 was the best looking X360 game next to gears of war 3) and many people thought halo infinite will be a XSX power showcase.
Sure graphics in halo games is not everything but if developer dont care about graphics in their game at all, it tells me they also dont care about other aspects as well. Why levels in halo infinite reminds me minecraft? Why everything looks so static? Why AI in this game is even more stupid compared to halo 1? This game is shaping up to be a totall disaster and I cant believe MS has paid $500 million for something like that.

I dont agree that they dont care. This is a huge undertaking to develop this game for potentially 5 different platforms. All the information we have shows that this is a mismanaged project with expectations that were too high for everyone from the studio to the fans.
Also the 500 million number has never been confirmed.

God, you people. Halo Infinite should release, but it shouldn’t be a 10 year plan until it proves itself.
