HELL YEAH!

I know it's a crime to say this, but I don't really like most of Sony's games, so I don't really care what they show or don't. But I'm dying to see the unannounced games from the new Xbox studios, especially the WRPG ones, and the ARPG from Moon Studios. I want to see gameplay for Halo, Hellblade and more on Everwild. I also want to see what's coming from 3rd parties. Cyberpunk, AssCreed, hopefully a new Tomb Raider, a sequel to Prey 2017 and more.

It's nice that Xbox won the power crown and I have no doubt games will look best on Xbox, but I NEED to see the games we're going to play on this beast!

When Forza, Gears and Halo showed up I admit I nearly fell out of my chair. The funniest people can poke fun at themselves too.

A lot of people that play console-only legitimately don't understand that you can take the best looking game on the market, shut off a bunch of effects, lower LOD, and lower resolution and play the exact same game on a potato. The concept is alien to them because they've never had the option on consoles.

I doubt this will change going into the next gen outside basic presets for performance/quality modes. Hopefully once faster SSDs become the norm they will play a role in how games are designed, like eliminating loading zones (Jedi: Fallen Order I'm looking at you). I've gotten good use out of the MVMe drive on my PC since I run massive texture mods but so far games don't really make a lot of use of the added speed. So far all I'm seeing from the new systems in a promise of faster loading times on the obvious sequels that are being developed for the new consoles. I haven't seen one example of a game that couldn't work with lower graphical settings on the current consoles.

It's almost alarming that we're about 6 months away from the new consoles and basically no "next gen" games have been actually shown from either side.
