Their last couple of E3s have been terrible so hopefully they've got something good for us this year. Probably some Elder Scrolls 6 gameplay. Maybe Prey 2.

As for a more out there prediction, please give me Evil Within 3.

Elder scrolls 6 gameplay is a bold prediction. They've iterated againand again that they're far off. I doubt gameplay exists of it.

DOOM: Eternal of course for me.
I would love to see if indeed the theories of the Angels is correct and see DoomGuy rip them apart!!! They are just so demonic to be to your side.

I'm interested in what kind of responsibility is going to take bethesda in terms of marketing and development regarding Fallout 76. For me it has been a complete disaster, all the areas involved. I will not lose this. If Bethesda does not mention anything about Fallout 76, it means they did not learn anything.

They will mention it and say how great fan support has been and how they are making new content for it. They will maybe throw in a joke about how shit it actually is.

It'd be nice to hear something about Elder Scrolls, but I don't expect it to happen. In the meantime, I'd love to learn more about Starfield.

Shinji Mikami will be at E3 next week. I'm excited about the possibility of another The Evil Within game!

Even so. It could be the reboot of Dino Crisis that has been speculated for months.

And I haven't had any reason to be pleased about any news in a while. But I'm happy, for now.

I hope we finally get some news about TES Legends coming to consoles.

They announced it last year but since then nothing (apart from their statement they want shared accounts for it).

Enjoy 76 a lot currently so can’t wait to see people go batshit over this summers battle royale and deathmatch modes. We get npc quests and the continuation of the story in fall with a world state change where the timeline moves forward a bit. We have datamined leaks.

Hate on 76 all you want but it’s not dead and doin alright ... unlike anthem. I can easily see it having a ark-like turnaround. I wouldn’t suggest it to fence sitters until the fall tho.

What can they possibly show beyond DOOM Eternal and more importantly - announce? TES VI or Starfield for sure not gonna happen, all new Wolfenstein games was already been announced last year and all of them will be releasing very soon. So what? Probably something from Arkane and maybe Tango, but that's about it. In any case, we'll see. But I'm not expecting much from Bethesda at E3 this year. DOOM Eternal is the only game I'll buy this year and if it won't require Bethesda.net account.

Prey 2 reannouncement baby
come on Bethesda

After that ending there NEEDS to be a sequel, but the lack of any teasing by the devs on social media has me thinking it won't be this E3.

Also, it didn't sell all that great did it? Seriously hope this won't mean Bethesda won't greenlight a sequel.

Oh wait, seems you mean that Prey 2 from years ago?

Yes, the one from years ago, the planned sequel to the greatest FPS of all time.

That did look great, but I doubt we're ever gonna see that return.

As for Starfield, the other day I watched a video on YouTube and this guy claimed Bethesda has to at least reveal or release the game this year otherwise they risk losing the trademark and name. I doubt it works like that.

However, he also says that apparently Bethesda has the largest stage so far for E3. And he wonders why they would need that if it's only for games we already know about., and maybe one or two new games that aren't BGS games.

If i'm not mistaken it was said there will be no Starfield or Elder Scrolls 6 on the E3.

Some BGS youtubers speculate that they said that on purpose, so that they can surprise us. I don't think they will, but I do think they should. To kinda "make up" for the crap that was 76 at launch and all the shit Bethesda as a company pulled after launch.

Show to the fans that one misstep doesn't have to mean they can't make a great game anymore. That certainly isn't how I think at all, because up to Fallout 4 I've enjoyed their games a lot. 76 just isn't it.

Also apparently they have the biggest stage they've yet had for E3, and you kinda gotta wonder why. But we will see. I expect Starfield to be revealed next year and launching with the new systems.

There's a current Todd interview with IGN (I think) where he admits fo76 was sh-t and broken, but *he* was entitled to lie about the game in every regard and put it out for full price anyway.

Of course, Todd is smirking inside knowing that despite his *confirmation* of every bad think people said about Beth and fo76 at the time of its release, the dumb dumbs, with the memory and brainpower of a goldfish, will still buy his next POS.

Rage 2 had an insane amount of work thrown on top of the (clearly) nearly finished mad Max 2 that Avalanche had *before* iD started to help convert it to rage 2. Yet rage 2 is an utter *joke* of a game with a rotten open world design, and a laughable single-player 'campaign'. The shooty is good (tho the shooty scenarios are largely rotten and cut-n-paste), but the shooty is pretty much lifted from Doom 2016, without the extra work of the melee camera kills.

Wolf 2 stank. Dishonored 2 stank (that was the bigger disappointment), Indeed D2 bombed so badly, the poor frogs at Arkane were put to work on the slapdash 'sequel' to wolf 2. Having just completed Evil Within 2- well that was godawful as well considering the budget and dev effort. A joke of a 'story' with most of the planned story clearly missing from the final game anyway.

See the pattern. A creative bust as Todd sells his soul for gaming as a service. No-one thinks quality any more at Beth, and that even hits the single player games with little to no MTX.

The pro journos are now asking the obvious question- why did Todd dare to sell a game broken and sh-t (in *his* eyes) for full price. FO76 had a value, given the state Todd knew the game was in, and that wasn't close to AAA full-price. So fallout 76 was a literal criminal con.

PS prey was a mega mega bomb (even tho it was a good game) so Beth would be *insane* to continue that IP (moonshot was already in advanced dev).

PPS anyone here still think no-engine Bethesda could actually make a *good* Starfield game? Dear lord. This is a creatively bankrupt *and* morally bankrupt company now.

too much, didn't read all of it.

But I see it just as a rant against Bethesda and everything they're doing.

Todd's main dev team wasn't even directly inolved with Fallout 76 but go on, spread your misinformed statements.

What I want from Bethesda they won’t give me: A New Vegas and Fallout 3 remaster with mod support.

Don’t go into E3 talking about Fallout 76, Bethesda

I don't think its quite as bad as you make it friend. Wolfenstein 2 had its issues yes but it a was fairly well-received game. I thought Dishonored 2 was a hell of a lot of fun and an improvement over the first which was already a fantastic game; and I know I'm not alone in this. Evil Within 2 was not anywhere near "godawful".... I could continue to address each item in your rant but I don't think anything Bethesda did at this point would please you if you thought all of these games were terrible

Not sure if Bethesda confirmed this themselves, but in that video about the Skyrim "grandma" I believe they showed some parts with photogeometrey, the same thing being used in the new CoD. I would love for Starfield and TES VI to use that.

There is not another poster on NeoGAF who writes more but says less. You’ll see his posts randomly dispersed in other threads but nobody seems to bother to read them.

Bethesda must have some bigger Fallout or Elder Scrolls news coming soon. I don't think Todd Howard would be doing his form of an apology tour otherwise. Maybe there's just a new content push for Fallout 76, or maybe there's some Fallout remasters on the way. Starfield is still in development, and I doubt the next major Elder Scrolls game is anywhere beyond initial planning. I can't imagine Todd Howard being out and about, this close to E3, if Bethesda wasn't planning something BGS related. I want to say this is Fallout related. but Elder Scrolls is having its 25'th Anniversary this year. Maybe it's an Elder Scrolls: Oblivion remaster? I really wonder what financial shape Bethesda is in. The last few games they've released haven't been very successful, financially at least. I wonder if Bethesda is at the point where they need a "win"?

Personally, I loved Rage 2 and am very much looking forward to Wolfenstein Youngblood in July and Doom Eternal in the fall. Expecting the two later games to be shown at E3 including a release date for Doom Eternal and some info on the DLC content for Rage 2.

No interest in The Elder Scrolls or Starfield for that matter as both are next gen and until Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios build a brand new game engine from the ground up for next gen, I have zero interest and both will be buggy and glitch as fuck. No thanks. Every other studio has long surpassed Bethesda Game Studios.

Hoping to see a new IP from Arkane and would love The Evil Within 3 or a new survival horror IP from Mikami and Tango Gameworks. So far a good year for me with Bethesda and next year should be good too.

I missed something. Where has he been doing an apology tour or anything along those lines?

Could be a good show though I kind of doubt it. I'd like to see The Evil Within 3 and maybe a new type of Thief/Dishonored as well as Prey 2. A Quake title like the first two would be cool as well. Wouldn't mind some more ip's and rpgs, but I bet most of the show will be roadmaps, dlc updates, time wasted on Elsweyr and how much the studios love their jobs and diversity.

I have to admit that I truly have no idea what to expect from Bethesda for this E3. I will watch, but I am going to be pissed if all we get is a bunch of stuff we already know about. They need to have a legit surprises. If we all get is extended Wolfenstein and Doom Eternal footage and trying to polish the turd that is Fallout 76 then Bethesda shouldn't have bothered.

Surprises could include:
1. Remasters of Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas (I badly want this and don't apologize for it). This would make the show for me.
2. A fullblown singleplayer expansion for Fallout 76. I'd certainly be curious about this, but it aint gonna happen.
3. Quake returns in some form.
4. Prey 2 would be nice.
5. Re-release Morrowind and Oblivion.

Bethesda is in the trash can right now for me.....only way i could grab its garbage again is to deliver some Fallout 3, New Vegas, and maybe Oblivion in a remaster way. But its going to still be in the trash can.....what they did with FO76 was unnaceptable.

Tango, arkane new game will be announced, 5-10 minutes of doom eternal and Wolfenstein Youngblood gameplay, fallout 76 dlc, lastly 20 minutes showcase of starfield and releasing this November. Starfield is still my number 1 anticipated game this year as long as they still allow mods. Bethesda is still the only AAA game dev allowing the games to be modded to that variety so I’ll be having At least 100 hours of fun game time.

Starfield isn't coming this year, dude. No idea where you got that idea. Howard has already stated Starfield or ES6 will not be shown at E3. I suppose he could be lying, but it's not likely.
