If we're already in the Discord group are we safe? Is everything going to be moved to a more exclusive Discord group with ResetEra members only or something?

What's the deal with "ResetEra Transfer?" Is that a registration link for the site ResetEra itself or a link to a new Discord group? I'm so confuuuuused!

Yeah, so re-branding our chat room before the new forum even launches is a bit strange.
I'd love to sign up but the chat has already split into this new direction and I don't know how to follow yet. It's all kind of messy.

All Discords have rebranded. For the most part if you're in a Discord it means you don't want to be associated with NeoGAF anymore.

Most everyone is rolling over to the new forum, and the Discord will go back to its initial use as a direct way for people to be notified of deals.

Walmart sucks. I have a $50 order coming but plan on selling it or trading it in for $60. Will buy on launch from Best Buy, have some RZ certificates.

I paid $50 for mine but they will likely just give me back what I paid, not retail price.

So for those interested. I just got off the phone with Barrett from Shoppers Drug Mart customer support who says that the 99.99 price of Super Mario Odyssy is in fact the real price of the game.

When asked why the price is $20 more than every other retailer in the country he stated "we're actually just on a different price level than competitors such as Wal-Mart."

I was going to ask him what the fuck that even meant but he's just a monkey working for the company and has no clue what he's talking about.

So looks like SDM will be sitting on a ton of stock of Odyssy for a while.

Yeah, it's very fascinating watching the community move from one forum to another. It was one thing when Gaf was down, but now it seems like it'll mostly keep limping along, which makes the move more or less a moral or political one.

I'm staying put for now. I'll see how bad it gets here. The issue is splitting the user base for this thread is just going to make it worse for both communities.

I've had items arrive the next day from Walmart. If it doesn't ship out by tomorrow night though, don't count on it arriving Friday.

Saturday at the earliest, but expect Monday.

I was hoping to get mine at Shoppers and now that they're gouging customers i'm wondering how else I can pick on up for cheap. Wish I had ordered it during E3 just for the hell of it. Damn.
