Spider-Man: Singleplayer, 4-6x size of Sunset, Spider-Man is 23, has Peter gameplay

Unfortunately you'll never see this running on good hardware so I'd quash that ask sooner rather than later.

Oh my god, the elitism is suffocating.

If you're really going to be that down in the dumps over the game being a PS4 exclusive, take solace in that it'll most likely get the remaster treatment next gen. Then you'll be able to play it on good hardware!

Yeah, I'm glad for the opportunity to either buy it twice or wait a generation and still not living up to the potential of the hardware available even then.

I'm still getting it, but people are right to be disappointed.

Edit: the fewer symbiotes the better honestly. I'm glad Slott hasn't used them much himself.

But by then THAT hardware will suck. No winning for the PC masters. 😢

Why are people right to be disappointed? It's not like the game was bound for other platforms at some point until Sony ponied up the cash to make it exclusive. By all accounts this was a Marvel-Sony collaboration from the start, so it's likely that, without Sony's involvement, this game wouldn't exist in the first place. At least not in the state we're seeing now. I'm sure a Spider-Man game would still come to fruition, but would it look this good? Hmmm.

And speaking of "good hardware," you expressed in your last thread that you'd be "mighty interested" in playing Dark Souls 3 on the Switch. Why exactly are you eager to play DS3 on less powerful hardware, but Spider-Man on the PS4 is considered disappointing?

Yeah, probably.

Because despite people's delusions the Switch is a portable. I am interested in playing more titles on the go.

Just ignore this kinda stuff. Yes its annoying, but derailing a thread because of a port beg and shit? Lets not do that.

Hyped for more. I'm reeeally hungry for a superhero game.

Yeah, probably.

So you're willing to suffer a downgrade in technical performance as long as you can play a game on the go? Uh huh, okay.

you can buy yourself a vita and use remote play!

As someone do doesn't have an X1 and couldn't play Sunset Overdrive, how big was SO? I'm trying to get an idea of how big 4-6x that is.

Hmm sunset was pretty big not GTA/zelda style of course but it had a lot of vertical layers and interactivity to the world.

Yeah, that sure worked out great when Activision or whoever was making them. You can't seriously believe this nonsense. This new generation is the first time in like ever Spidey has received the proper AAA treatment.

I mean, it can get a AAA budget and exist in platforms everyone can play on
and ones with a better ecosystem and hardware
but it is what it is.

Ah, the "who cares about the quality of the game as long as it's on PC" argument. I also love that "better ecosystem" is somehow an objective statement.

I have a friend who takes the pc master race thing seriously, like he says "console noob" unironically. Hes kind of awful and i dont hang out with him much, friends of friends type thing. Anyway sorry for the digress, seeing some of these responses just reminded me of him. The game looks really pretty, but i want to see some open world gameplay in order to really be sold, that demo was a little too tightly scripted for my tastes, i totally trust insomniac to make a great game though! They are two for two this generation!

What pub is gonna invest in a purely open world single player game that costs millions of dollars to make in this day in age?

Woof.

I never knew games that aren't for your preferred platform are, because of that, not living up to their true potential. The game is being made specifically for a console, so if anything, it's living up to the potential that it is being made for already.

You don't have to buy it twice. You don't have to buy it at all. Or you can buy it on PS4 and be happy the game exists.

Agendas are real weird. But it is what it is.

Man all your posts are pure salt that this isn't on your beloved PC or Switch lol smh

And no if it was multiplatform and made by some other dev studio I guarantee it wouldn't have been as high quality productions or as 'AAA' as this very well developed Spiderman Sony backed title with that class First Party title treatment.

It would've been like just another soulless The Amazing Spiderman crap with severe lack of quality made for just a quick buck just some average forgettable one that doesn't even deserve to be called AAA

I have been gaming on pc mainly this gen and that guy's posts are cringy to me still. He needs to get over himself, the game looks incredible. I don't know of a game that competes with sony first party in looks on pc (even considering a fully modded Skyrim). I have a ps4 and am jealous of the way games like Horizon, and Uncharted look. Imagine a The Elder Scrolls game with Horizon's visuals, then add the potential mods on top of it.

See what I did there? I didn't ask for Horizon for pc but a game to be as pretty as it. Spider-Man looks insanely good, this poster is crazy.

Unfortunately you'll never see the Big Mac served at a good burger joint so I'd quash that ask sooner rather than later.

I mean, it can get prime grade beef and exist at places everyone can visit
and ones with better ingredients and selections
but it is what it is.

Edit: basically "waaah, I want a big mac, they taste so good and exist because of McD's but I'm too snobby to enter one and would rather brag about my 'REAL' hamburger preference"

I killed people in Arkham, I managed to kill citizens in every AC game after they stopped allowing it.

Challenge accepted, Insomniac.
The people I left sitting unconscious inside a burning car i had just rammed down the street with the batmobile were pulled out by police and safely taken to GCPD afterwards, I'm sure

I'm really look forward to how this SM game handles saving people. I'm okay with QTEs for rescuing someone, just so long as it isn't always just a simple button press. Stuff like having to aim web shots at a fallIng object or the hilarious trigger spam to stop the helicopter are right up my alley.
