Maybe this has been mentioned allready, but I searched and couldn't find anything. According to GameStar, a german gaming site, Far Cry 5 will be drop-in coop, second player won't get mission progress.

Really hope that's not the case. =/

I was literally only going to get it for the co-op with a friend. Just no reason for me to bother now.

One of the reasons why my brother and I didn't want to co-op Far Cry 4. I hope they find a solution for this.

Wow, that's actually really shit. The draw of Wildlands for my friend and I was the ability to tackle missions together. You'd think they'd be trying to replicate that success.

Same. Me and a friend played co-op in Wildlands, had lots of fun.
Im sure we could have fun playing Far Cry 5, but not having 'mission progress' is a major disappointment.

Hopefully world progress carries over, that's more important imo. Being forced to do towers in multiple worlds was a dealbreaker. Not that I wont still play the SP, but no coop for me.
