Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
No lists, no pictures without names, etc. etc.
People do Winter and Fall threads all the time, but I tend to see Summer a lot less, if ever, probably because they're a lot harder to pin down.
Most levels that fall into this category aren't intentionally created to evoke a Summer theme unless they're explicitly tropical, but end up falling into that category by nature of their design. A few of my favorites that I can think of:
Redridge Mountains, World of Warcraft
This is definitely a Summer area. If you couldn't tell from the name, there's a lot of red mountains here, although they're more of an earthy orange if you ask me. It's not an outright desert or tropical paradise or anything overtly in-your-face, but the atmosphere here is very warm and lively. I could always imagine the heat beating down on my character as I quested here. It's a very "normal" place, but one where I can picture the citizens of Azeroth going on their family vacations... if it weren't infested with gnolls and dragons, that is.
A more recent example would be most of Hyrule from Breath of the Wild, and not just Faron and the general southern ends of the map, which are very obviously summer themed.
Again, it's not really in your face with any particular theme. The frequent rain, the tall grass, the bright green leaves on the trees, it's all very lively in a very natural way, which is, I suppose, exactly what the game was going for. Like most people who became enamored with Breath of the Wild, I really ended up loving the overworld in this game, and it was partially because of how green and alive it felt, despite the civilization itself being in decline. I feel like most incarnations of Hyrule Field can fall into a Summer category, actually.
Sentinel Beach, Jak and Daxter
I really love this place. The calm music, the relaxing atmosphere, the seagulls flying away as you run close to them. Even the noob-friendly enemies and the sound of the cannon going off are relaxing, in their own way. I sometimes replay the game just to come to this level. The first Jak and Daxter was full of great Summer areas surrounding the first hub world, but Sentinel Beach was always my favorite.
What are your favorite Summer areas in gaming? I find that most starter areas tend to have imagery and an atmosphere that can generally be categorized as "Summer-ish."
