An Inhumans film was Ike Perlmutter's pet project (to get one over on the X-Men). Once Kevin Feige got complete control of Marvel Studios, he nixed the project and Ike (who still has control of the TV division) decided to make it a TV show.

Multiple times in the same day while doing press for Homecoming, Amy Pascal kept insisting that Spider-Man and Venom would be connected cinematically, and every time she did it Kevin would look at her the way Cheryl David looks at Larry David.
Heh, that was Feige's reaction to Amy Pascal saying that Venom, Black Cat and all those movies take place in the MCU

They're shooting this on some of the best cameras in the world, and they didn't bother to hire a director of photography.
It's like they put a guy in there just to check if the actors are in focus and the camera is exposed correctly. They could just use autofocus and autoexp at that point.

Yup. The worst thing is that by directing the first two episodes he set the tone for the rest of the show. Basically, it's (probably) going to always look like shit.
Also, the fact that ABC/Marvel hired Roel who's well known for working on low budget stuff speaks volumes of their investment in the show. Although, to give the guy some credit - both Death Race 2 & 3 looked more expensive than this.

Something seems off. I mean outside of sound effects and cgi, but just purely on the script and trailer. Like the pacing seems really iffy.

Absolute fucking garbage of the highest order. Remember when the head of iMAX (iirc) said this would have 'Game of Thrones production values'? Good grief.
I cannot believe they are going to be putting this in cinemas. I cannot imagine that Fiege and Co are happy about this, not only did the TV division eradicate any chance of an Inhumans film but they are potentially going to tarnish the brand by having this on IMAX screens nationwide.

Yeah, the big dramatic speech that you hear over different scenes sounded pretty stiff. I get they were going for something grandiose, but it doesn't work.
Also, the show doesn't seem that fantastical given the concept. These are living weapons with alien DNA that live on the moon. The major threat we see in the trailer is grunts in black leather with guns...

But.., the trailer is literally the series chopped up into pieces and then cut together, how can you say that the trailer isn't representative of the quality of the final product.
There's no way they are secretly hiding some hugely expensive set piece or massive VFX wonder, the trailer is the how the series is going to look.
I know right, dude wore out multiple Skull torturers, they ended up begging him.
