EU Blog post:

Introducing the PlayStation Days of Play sale

"It all starts on Friday 9th June when the full line-up of games to be discounted on PlayStation Store will be announced, and the sale begins. But to give you a sneak peek, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Nioh, Battlefield 1, Grand Theft Auto V and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will all feature."

"The sale starts on Friday 9th June and ends Saturday 17th June for physical items – while downloadable games and PS Plus memberships are on sale until 21st June at PlayStation Store."

Time to stack guys

Don't know finally if it's "one day, one deal" (The PlayStation Store will see something cheap every day) or if it's a more classic sale (It all starts on Friday 9th June when the full line-up of games to be discounted on PlayStation Store will be announced, and the sale begins). That's a little bit inconsistent.

I'm guessing these aren't the only games to be going on sale? Either way I don't mind, I can finally jump on Nioh.

There are some new deals today according to psprices. They're all on digital-only games. Some are pretty good like 40% off Snake Pass, 70% off Crypt of the Necrodancer (heavily recommended!), etc.

Is Necrodancer one of those roguelikes that just goes on and on, or something beatable in a reasonable timeframe?

I has a nice progression with short levels that are part of a few zones (that get increasingly harder the more you play), loads of characters and modes. Completing all zones with the first character requires some practice, but doesn't take much time. Honestly it's an ultimate comfy game for me. If you like rhythm games and enjoy a roguelike once in a while, it's a perfect mix.

So PS Plus memberships goes on sale? What if my membership expires on June 11, can I just buy 12-month subscription when it's on sale and it'll add to my current one?

I'll be very tempted by the Ezio collection if it goes on sale, although I know I probably should leave it as I have such perfect memories of AC2/ACB and I don't want to ruin them.

I played through the Ezio Collection and I can assure you, they are an absolute treat to replay that hold up extremely well. Moreso if you have a Pro & a 4K display.

I have both, now I'm intrigued. I didn't expect them to be massively upgraded for the Pro but I never really looked into it.

what if i dont have a Pro but have a 4k display?

Then you owe it to yourself to pick up a Pro my friend.

I have both, now I'm intrigued. I didn't expect them to be massively upgraded for the Pro but I never really looked into it.

Native 4K and a locked 30fps alone make a tangible difference, and the visual improvements between each entry are so stark and impressive that coupled with the gameplay tweaks, makes each of them a blast to go through again.

While we're all talking about cheap PS+ codes, ShopTo is selling 12 month digital codes of UK PS+ for £27.85.

Warning: they also sell codes in physical boxes, but they're full price. You'll have to go via the menu to the PlayStation digital section to get this deal.

Edit: Or you can click on the Days of Play banner, that also works.

Got Wolfenstein and Child of Light. I'll play Wolfenstein after I get my fill from Horizon and Child of Light should be my next night game (aka games that are slower pacer and relaxing) once I finish Valiant Hearts and Tearaway Unfolded (loved the original and I want to see this version).

Gravity Rush 2 - 34€
Nioh - 40€
Watch Dogs 2 - 30€
Titanfall 2 - 23€
The Last of Us Remastered - 20,50€
Ratchet & Clank - 21,50€
Uncharted 4 - 25€
Mass Effect Andromeda - 35€
For Honor - 40€
Horizon - 40€
The Last Guardian - 25€

Still a bit too steep for me to justify getting Nioh. €30 would have been enough to convince me, anything lower would have made me purchase it on the spot.

I'll get Ratchet & Clank when it gets to €15. Hopefully it does by the end of the year.

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.

Hmm I want to check ME: A out of morbid curiosity.
But meh that's still way too high for my blood considering all it's many issues.

Also no Nier Automata sale damn :(

Same, I'm really tempted by ME:A, but I'm also torn with Nioh. I was expecting £25-£30 for Nioh but that's not happening.

Prices appear to be live in the UK as of 9am.

Severely tempted by The Last of Us.

A 20 for one of the finest games ever made imo?
I think it's def worth the plunge.

ME: A will probably see deeper discounts soon enough.
Lord knows they've sold quite below expectations.

Was hoping for some better deals tbh. For those interested, HK store sale is also up and has some of the games at better prices. Gold edition of WD2 for around 30 euros for example.

Yep, no doubt there will be bigger discounts. Still have my eye on Nioh.
